  • A Perfect Escape

"We stayed at this property last week and fell in love. It's got the old charm of Beaufort but you aren't stuck in a hotel. Loved having space for our kids and sitting on the deck each night. Tuesdi was a great host. Had an issue with the grill and it was replaced no questions asked. Had a slight emergency and she was compassionate and understanding with our delayed departure. From the day I contacted her, this booking was smooth sailing. The pictures are true to the home and the house was spotless. My kids loved the huge park nearby that was a pirate ship. The local beach is great for exploring but bring water shoes. For more of a sandy beach its a quick drive to Hunting State Park or Hilton Head. If you do book, we fished with Castaway Charters right out of Port Royal and loved it. Would book again and again."

  • A slice of paradise

"Thank you Jeanie & Larry for providing your HHI villa in Inland Harbour for our visit. The villa could not have been more comfortable, with its large deck overlooking the golf course and wonderful trees covered in Spanish moss. Coming from Ireland, five thousand miles away at the other end of the Gulf Stream, we really enjoyed South Carolina's flora and fauna, for example listening to the bird sounds on the deck at daybreak; the frog chorus, and the friendly visit at G&T time from one of the gators, always keeping a watchful eye over us! We had a wonderful few days also in Charleston, and in local Savannah and Beaufort. We would highly recommend a dolphin excursion on the May River from Bluffton and a walk through old Bluffton village. Make sure you stop and have one of the lovely salads with grits in The Cottage and catch their weekly farmer's market every Thursday from 2pm. It's a short trip to Bluffton but magnificant. You can't ignore the Tanger Outlets for clothes shopping and our favourite, the Fresh Market, for all your food. The Island is a pleasure to drive and cycle and the local beach at Sea Pines, the South Beach and Harbour Town are easy to cycle to also. We intend to return! Thank you again, Family of 3, Ireland"

  • Perfect

"We brought our family down to SC for our son's graduation from Parris Island. Other than our GPS not finding the house well the first time and the neighborhood stray cat getting hit by a car in front of the driveway, this was a very tranquil retreat. We arrived on Saturday and were not allowed on base until Wednesday, which gave us a few days for site seeing. We were able to walk down (which I don't recommend on a hot August day) to Sands Beach and walked up the observation tower for great sunsets. We also went to Savannah GA one day, beautiful city. Once the activities on the base began we were so glad that we rented this house for the very fact of how close it was to the base. So easy to get there and back which made our time with our Marine even better. There was plenty of room, clean, close to many restaurants/stores and it was cool! Thank you for sharing your home with us! I recommend it to anyone. Erik & Tracy Johansen"

"We also stayed here for our son's USMC graduation. Great house, great location (minutes from Parris Island), great porches, cute town, very nice neighborhood! Enjoyed the restaurants very close to the house too. We were glad to have found this gem!"
