  • Excellent home away from home

"Our family stayed in this house for marine graduation week. We were pleasantly surprised by the large size of the every room. The kitchen is very open with plenty of space for entertaining guests after graduation. The beds were quite comfortable with great pillows. It was very much like a hotel in that clean white sheets and towels were provided. At the same time it felt like staying at a friend's house. There were extra paper towels, toilet paper, foil wrap, sandwich bags, etc. There was even a flat iron in the bathroom drawer and an extra raincoat hanging in the closet. The owner answered questions promptly via email before and during the trip. By the time we left we felt as if we'd been welcomed into the home of a friend. We enjoyed a day at Hilton Head Island which was about a 40 minute drive (and certainly worth it). Also, Port Royal and the surrounding area is a geocaching hot spot! We found four in very little time. If you are visiting the area for marine graduation, look for the virtual geocache on Parris Island, we didn't realize that there was one there until we'd left the island. We had such a good time in the area that we decided to stay an extra night. Once again, the owners were easy to work with and everything went smoothly. Overall, our stay was highly enjoyable and we would recommend this home to friends and family."

  • Relax and Reconnect

"We spent a week at Pelican Point and came away rested, relaxed, and in love with the place! Fran really has thought of everything: we had five adults, as well as a pre-schooler and a 10-month old with us. We found the unit equipped with a high chair, pack-and-play, and even baby spoons! Older kids and grown-ups are not left out, though -- there is a lovely selection of nature books and guides for kids and grown-ups, so they can identify and learn about all the natural wonders they find on Harbor Island. There are also novels and magazines available, and games like Scrabble and Monopoly. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked; the towels are generously sized and fluffy, and the beds are so, so comfortable. There is plenty of space to sit and visit, and plenty of outside equipment for the beach, including several wagons for transporting beach chairs and babies. Everything was clean and in great condition -- our family feels as if we've found a perfect place to relax and reconnect!!"

  • M.A.K

"First off I'd like to say I did not stay in this rental. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners while renting the property next to them. A very family oriented couple! Just would like to say thanks for giving my youngest son (who knows no strangers) a great first vacation experience! Thanks for building memories of a lifetime that I'm sure he will always remember! First blue crab netting, popsicles and someone other than family to hang out with for a few. Wish we could of had more free time to just let the boys be boys. He talked about it all on the way home! 12 hrs 😳 Lol Thanks again!"

  • Our Winter Paradise

"We loved our stay at North Hampton Villa. The second bedroom is small but our guests were surprised at the comfortable bed. The view is exceptional! Waking up to a glorious sunrise is a dream come true. The beach is wonderful to walk on, even our little dog loves it! Fripp Island is a terrific place to visit, even without the amenities card. We rented a golf cart from a company in Beaufort, they delivered it to us. Beaufort is a lovely town with lots of history to absorb. We hope to be able to return in the future!"
