"This condo is located in the perfect location in a top notch facility! First of all, Dawn was great to work with. She always responded quickly to my emails and was always very friendly. Upon arriving at the Anderson, the parking attendants were great! They greeted us at our vehicle, directed me inside to get our parking pass, and had our vehicle unpacked and ready to head to our room within 5 minutes. I did the self-park and parked across the street in the parking ramp. It's just a short walk; not a big deal at all.
The condo is just as described. Large two bedroom, two bath, with a nice full kitchen and living room area. The condo was nice and clean, except for the carpet having a few stains, which is not a huge deal in my book. We had just a little issue with one bathroom not having a shower curtain, but Dawn took care of that for us. My advice, look everything over when you get there and let Dawn know if something is not right. She will take care of it!
The best feature in this condo is the balcony! It is a huge, wrap around balcony with plenty of chairs. You can see for miles! I was fortunate enough to wake up early one morning and catch the sun coming up over the horizon. The view is amazing!
The pool area was always clean with plenty of chairs. The best part is the pools are heated. Although it was hot, it's still nice to have a heated pool rather than a freezing pool to jump in. Our 6 year old daughter loves to swim and we were at the pool by 8:00 each morning. We did the beach also, but the pool were her favorite, especially the lazy river. The lazy river is small, but it was never packed with people. With the direction of the sun, the pool area is mostly shaded later in the day. So if you want sun, get up early and enjoy it before it goes behind the building. All of the hotels have this same issue due to them facing the ocean. Typically by the time this happened each day, we had had enough sun and the shade felt good.
This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach and loved it! We visit Florida a lot and I found Myrtle Beach to be very family friendly with lots of things for kids to do. The location of the Anderson is close enough to the skywheel area to walk if you want. We took Uber a few times, just because it was so cheap and convenient. Hopefully we will be back to Myrtle Beach some day soon!"
