  • Beautiful Getaway

    "I want to express what a beautiful condo we just stayed in at the Palms Resort. It was clean well decorated and all the comforts of home. From the booking process with Dave to the check in at the Palms it could not have been easier. This was not a party place but very quiet and relaxing and close to everything, and enjoyed it so much better than the big resorts in Myrtle. We have been going to Myrtle for 25 years and this was one of our best trips. Highly recommend this condo."

  • Fantastic visit to Ocean Blue!

    "What a beautiful condo! Our party of 9 adults had a fantastic stay at Ocean Blue. We really enjoyed all of the space that the condo affords. Traveling with a group that size often means that you sacrifice personal (and quiet) space, but the enormity of the living room coupled with the media room and comfortable bedrooms allowed for plenty of space to be together without being on top of one another. The kitchen had enough cookware, dishes and glasses to accommodate a group 3 times as large as ours. We prepared most meals in the condo, but enjoyed a few of the local restaurants as well (ART Burger Sushi Bar was a favorite). Franca was great to work with and Lisa, the on-site contact, was very accommodating. The condo is very conveniently located within the building which made loading & unloading vehicles a breeze and the access to the beach quick and easy. The weather was great, especially considering we were there to celebrate the New Year. We were able to enjoy the rocking chairs on the balcony every day - though sometimes we had to bundle up a bit. We would certainly visit again! We noticed a close proximity to the airport and to many attractions. With the assistance of Uber, this condo would be a good location for travelers without a vehicle. Note to future renters: make sure to bring toilet paper and paper towels upon arrival - the "welcome package" doesn't include a roll in each bathroom to get you started (something I have experienced at other VRBO rentals)."

  • Great for a family thanksgiving!

    "Highlights: The interior is decorated with quality furniture and the stainlesss steel appliances (convection oven!) were top of the line! A special bonus of this place is that the seating is perfect for a family of 6-8! First floor access and it's the first unit in the section so it's easy access from the road and no stairs are needed. The kitchen was well stocked with serving utensils and ample cookingware/bowls. The bedrooms are sizable and a good fit for a family of 5. Coverlets are quality/tasteful. Clean upon arrival. Lowlights: Minor adjustments had to be made (kitchen lightbulb was out on arrival). Agent said she would reimburse us. We purchased a lightbulb at Lowe's and installed ourselves. Not sure what promises were made re: maintenance but I think my husband was expecting to see a maintenance person but he/she never came by. Shower light in kids bathroom was hanging by the cord. Fan in master bath was too loud to use in the morning/night or it would wake up the kids. There is a slight smell upon first entering that hints to possible previous flood damage...but it was unnoticable after 30 seconds... King beds are 2 twins...mediocre quality in master. Caroline W. was great to work with but originally she represented this place as "with pool access" - However after I placed the deposit she called me back and said that she misunderstood. In the end, too much time had passed/no response to my husband's specific questions via my email that we couldn't switch to another indoor pool access unit. Not a deal breaker but were disappointed. FYI: We tried to buy usage directly from Myrtlewood Villas but they wouldn't sell us "day passes" to the indoor pool."
