  • Nice resort. Good location and offers everything we need.

"Unit 1002 on south side of building. This side of the building offers the best views. Beds - we didn't like the memory foam topper pads as they were too soft, to the point that it was virtually impossible to turn over. Could have used larger fry pans, the biggest one was probably a 10" and it appeared that someone used it as a hammer because there were two large dents in it that made it rock on the burner. It was nice that there were beach chairs and boggie boards, but it would have been a plus if there would have been a beach umbrella. The floor appeared to be fake wood vinyl, very light in color so it showed dirt (stains) very easy. We stayed in unit 1102 3 years ago and the layouts are identical. There were pro's and con's to each, but I would stay in either unit again. Villa Romano, Lombardo's, Sea Captain's House have very good food, Bummz and Magnolia's were good too. Harry's has a cheap breakfast and there are a lot of places to eat within walking distance. Very good ribs at Good Time Charley's. • Penthouse 2 - An awesome stay

"I have always wanted to bring family to this penthouse. Have stayed at Palms several times in the past. This time, my stay coincided with the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. Even after a hurricane, the property was in exceptional condition. The indoor pool area was the only issue. They were still working on it, and it was re-opened a couple of days into our stay. The penthouse (2), what can you say. It was an experience. The accommodations were exceptional; from the two story glass view in the living room area, to the private balconies, the jacuzzi-tub in the master bath. I was very impressed. The pictures do not do justice to the environment you enter. Plus, Kevin. He txt me while I was enroute to the hotel, providing information. I then txt him a couple of times during the stay. He responded almost immediately. So, overall, the penthouse is amazing in itself, and Kevin was great in his "support service." Even after hurricane, perfect, and will definitely stay there again in future. Had a couple of places that I liked in the past, but this was first visit to penthouse, and will not be last. KL"
