"At the time I booked the condo, you were not able to pay by credit card and had to mail 2 separate checks and a separate cleaning fee, however, she avoids fees that the rental company adds to the credit card and that was appreciated. This wasn't the most convenient method, but it wasn't really a big deal.
Once we got there, there is keyless entry, which was very user friendly and you can program your own code for the week. The condo has amazing upgrades that were fantastic. The pictures throughout the unit of the family gives it a personal touch. It is a very short walk to the beach. It is nice to have a parking place and walk right into the condo as opposed to having to wait on elevators like in the Embassy or Brighton.
The beds were very comfortable and there are phone chargers with the time, temperature, etc in each room. The showers were amazing with 3 settings and had fantastic water pressure. There is plenty of storage to unpack clothes and ample closet space. All the TV's in the unit are HD, which is a first for us staying on Kingston Plantation and was great!
The kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans, etc. There is a keurig, which is extremely convenient and clean. The outdoor back porch is screened and was very nice with a table, decorative lights and a ceiling fan, which made for a nice relaxing place. The front porch was also inviting and a comfortable place to sit.
The only downside to this unit is that the air conditioning is programmed not to go below 73 degrees. The heat index the first couple of days we were there was 103. It wouldn't get cooler than 77 degrees during the day. Even when it was cooler at the end of the week, the bedrooms at night were around 75 degrees and very uncomfortable. I did go to Target and buy fans, which did help but still warm. All the bedrooms and living room having ceiling fans, which helped, but it was too warm at night to sleep. We did leave a fan and hopefully future guest will benefit from this. Unfortunately, we were not able to open the blinds because it just got too warm in the unit. This unit was not inexpensive for the week (which is worth it for all the amazing perks and upgrades) but when paying that type of money, the thermostat should at least be able to be turned down to 70-71 degrees. This is the only reason we did not give 5 stars.
Otherwise, we had a great time and the condo is wonderful. We would recommend this unit to future guests."
