  • Beautiful House

"The Regal Palms is a beautiful home in a great location with all the amenities you could need on your vacation. The owner was a pleasure to work with and we would not hesitate to rent there again on our next trip to Myrtle Beach."

  • Wonderful March Vacation 2016

"We really enjoyed our stay at this condo in the beautiful Kingston Plantation resort. There were no surprises and it was exactly as advertised. Everything went as planned and the condo was ready for our arrival, clean and organized. Doug was an excellent VRBO host and did all he could to make it a hassle free, relaxing stay. If there was a scheduled activity around the condo, as part of his regular maintenance program, he always called to explain and give us advance notice. The Kingston Plantation wifi was free, relatively easy to access and very reliable, though we did have to log in more than usual from day to day. Not being able to call out on the condo land line could have been an issue but our cell service, thanks to the inexpensive purchase of a local sim card, was quite sufficient and something we also knew in advance. The grounds of the Plantation area were wonderful for our regular walks and, with the exceptional weather this year, we took full advantage of it. Getting to the beach, which was only minutes away, was easy and convenient. We knew, of course, that there would be an extra charge if we wanted to use the Hilton Recreational facilities ( tennis, badminton, indoor swimming pool, etc. ) and, while it would have been nice to have them available, it wasn't worth the extra, in our opinion. The private, gated community, with very friendly staff, made it a very secure and comfortable place to relax. The outdoor pool in our area wasn't open for the month of March and, though it might have usually been too cold to really enjoy, this year was probably an exception. In that sense, it could have been an enjoyable asset, giving us a place to sunbathe on days that might have been a little windy on the beach. The location of the Kingston Plantation is terrific, close to excellent shopping, theaters, restaurants, golf and, of course, the beach. It was this that made it perfect for us and the main thing that would lead us back to the area another year. There were just two of us on our vacation but we can see how this unit would serve a larger group, as well. Certainly, there was ample space for another couple. In summary, the condo unit itself, the Kingston Plantation area in general, and our host, Doug Schmitt, were all wonderful and made it a very enjoyable month for us. We'd highly recommend it for others to enjoy if they were vacationing in this area..... Brian and Cheryl Stewart"

  • Plantation temptation:)

"This was our first time to Myrtle Beach and I was hopeful I had chosen a good place to stay. Good would be an understatement. The condo was clean, everything worked like it should and the little extras were appreciated. Forgot beach towels? No problem, they have some you can use. Need entertainment? My kids enjoyed the puzzles and checkers. There was also a small selection of books to read. The balcony was enormous! The building is actually located on a plantation that is very well maintained. My morning runs were enjoyable with their multiple trails, ponds, ducks, geese, etc (my kids loved that too). They have volleyball, pools, an ice cream and pizza place all on the plantation. I can't think of one single complaint. Would not hesitate to rent again in the future!"
