"Our family of 10 adults and two small grandchildren stayed at the condo 8/13 - 8/20/16 and enjoyed our stay. I would say that the ideal capacity of the unit is eight people although the pull-out couch would be OK for two additional kids. The view was wonderful from the 5th floor balcony overlooking the VERY wide beach. The beach had a very gradual slope into the ocean, affording a huge beach at low tide, and a very large beach at high tide. The balcony was very nice sized with approximately 7 chairs and one large table. Patio furniture was in minor disrepair but very solid. The interior furniture was fine but dated. Bedding was clean and comfortable, kitchen had adequate pans, plates, glasses, - refrigerator was large and cooled things quickly with a great ice maker. The pantry storage area was very nice. The washer and dryer were very high capacity, and a vacuum was provided for clean-up. The dishwasher was the weak point of the kitchen, with neither roll-out drawer working correctly, but cleaning was very good. Solid blender and coffee pot. There are no hair dryers in the unit. For some reason, most of the rooms popped the ground fault circuits at lease once during our stay. The Jack and Jill bathroom popped the GFI three times and none were due to anything other than lighting or fans being turned on. Cable service was great and the flat screen TV's were very nice. The pool and lazy river were nice. Be sure to bring your own tubes for the lazy river as they are not provided. Nice outdoor showers were present along with hoses to spray the sand from your feet when coming from the beach.
We brought beach chairs and umbrellas, but they were available for rent for $25 per day for two chairs and one umbrella. Also, the unit has a water toy storage closet which had beach chairs and boogie boards for use by guests - we would not bring our own if we came again. Be sure to bring your own beach towels, as only bathroom towels are provided. Grocery and other shopping were very convenient, as were several restaurants. The IGA was our go-to store during the trip, and had most things we needed at moderate prices.
This condo is in a more secluded area of North Myrtle Beach, but is plenty close to as much rat race as you want to get into. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit to others."
