  • Location- Location-Location ! Best Location

"Just returned from renting this house and like the title says LOCATION !! This house is just a short few blocks from the beach and with the Golf Cart which is included the beach is even closer. Without staying on the beach this is the next best thing. Good restaurants very close as well as ice cream shop, putt putt and grocery store and all within driving distance with the golf cart. The house was very clean and had enough room comfortably for the 4 teenagers and 2 adults could have even had few more people comfortably. Kitchen was well stocked making meal preparation easy. Loved the pool ! After a long morning walk on the beach (again very close to the beach) the pool was refreshing to get into and relax before heading back to the beach with the family. Had a few minor issues which were handled promptly by the owner (who at the time was out of the country but handle the issues quickly) If you are looking for a family rental with a great location this is the place for you. Would rent again next summer."

  • Charming House in a Great Community

"Well-appointed house in an adorable, picture-perfect neighborhood (looks exactly out of a post card!) that is very quiet and relaxing. House's 3 bedrooms were perfect for 3 adults (my hubby and my Mom) and 3 kids. Amenities (pool, lazy river, gym, etc.) are nice. Beach/pool is an easy walk for adults, but tougher for kids. Fortunately, the shuttle service is amazing and very responsive. Beach was a little crowded (especially at high tide), but a short walk south the beach is practically deserted (there is also a really cool tidal pool/river that the kids loved). Location across from Barefoot Landing was great. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance including Nacho Hippo's, Hamburger Joe's, 21 Main Steakhouse, Cracker Barrel, and (of course) McDonald's. Bonnie was great to work with. Only complaint were the pillows which were much too large (or fluffy) for us, but you can either bring your own or pick up a $2.99 pillow at the nearby Wal-Mart (which is what we did). We also were very disappointed in the drinks/food available at the pool bar. Not sure how you mess up $10 cocktails, but everything we had was just "off" taste wise so we would recommend brining your own food and drinks to the pool/beach."
