  • Beautiful spot, would recommend to anyone.

"We just spent a wonderful month in South Carolina. We were lucky enough to find a condo a few short minutes walk to a beautiful beach that you can walk or bike miles on. Your walk to the beach takes you right by The Dunes House beach bar /restaurant . The staff are friendly, service is good and so is the food. There is ample to do, the bicycle paths are unlimited, well cared for and bicycles easily attained. The lagoons in the area make for great canoeing or kayaking and it is all within walking distance. Tennis courts are minutes away and there are a multitude of golf courses to play. There are beautiful flowered bushes and plants as well as a multitude of different bird species to see. The condo, I don't know what we expected but this condo exceeded all our expectations. The condo is located in the Moorings a quiet well maintained plantation bordering the ocean. Spacious is an understatement, it comfortably sleeps six people in large, bright bedrooms with attached bathroom and closet space galore. There is also a queen size pull out couch in the living room should you need it. Both bedrooms have a balcony which overlooks the pool, comfortable beds and lots of towels and blankets. The kitchen is equipped to cook anything you might want to prepare and the grocery store , Kroger's, is a short five minute drive ( get a Kroger's card and you will save a lot on groceries and get free gas). The living area has almost any type of electronics you would need, free internet and local telephone service. If you are not visiting from the USA arrange a cell long distance plan for simplicity. All in all we were so pleased we rebooked for next year, the guests we had visit were impressed with both the size of the condo as well as the location . We would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a convenient, large and well maintained condo."

  • Happy Renter

"What a fabulous condo. It's updated, clean, convenient and just a fantastic location. So much to do. The beach is right there along with a pool. Very family oriented and met some great people. Our last night we went to the Apache Pier and it was one of the best things. It's within walking distance and so much fun. Owners were terrific to work with and very accomodating. Can't say enough about the condo, we will return and stay here again."

  • Wonderful Week!

"This is a fabulous Pelican Watch! Clean and full of amenities. Comfortable bed and the awning on the porch meant that we got to use the deck even during a rainstorm. The owner was responsive and helpful. We can't wait to get back and stay at this gorgeous villa."

  • Amazing Hilton Head Villa

"This was our second year visiting Hilton Head and our first visit to this beautiful villa. We came across this condo rather last minute due to some issues that arose around our original plans and reservation elsewhere. Thanks to a cancellation we were able to book this lovely unit, and we're very glad things worked the way they did - we've found our new Hilton Head home! Previously we've stayed in Shipyard, this was our first time visiting Palmetto Dunes. It turns out as much as we liked Shipyard, we loved PD even more. Beach access is better with more access points and much better parking. The general store is a treat. All of the different neighborhoods provide endless bike riding possibilities. And it's nice having access to multiple dining options without having to drive off plantation. PD is a winner. We're a family of three and very noise sensitive. This villa was perfect for us. It is an end-unit and the entry (and parking) is so private it's like having a stand-alone home. Noise is not an issue. The first thing you'll notice upon entering is how clean this place is - it's evident that quite a bit of effort is invested in cleaning in-between tenants here - not a service that pops in for an hour. The kitchen is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. We loved eating breakfast at the bar. The living room off the kitchen is very comfortable and the television picture is gorgeous and the inclusion of a DVR was awesome. We spent many relaxing hours on the deck. One of the wildcards when renting a villa is always the comfort of the bedding. How great will your vacation be if you can't sleep? Well, the beds here pass the test. So comfortable. The king in the master is great and our son also slept very well in the downstairs bedroom. The bathrooms are also beautiful. The loft is a great bonus space. We didn't need it for sleeping space but it would work very well for a larger family. Did I mention the flooring throughout? Beautiful. The Turnberry pool is literally a minute walk away. Very quick walk but far enough away you don't hear it. Plenty of seating at the pool, it was rarely crowded. The beach is a 3 minute drive away at the Disney Beach House. We never walked it but it would probably be about a 20 minute walk. Parking wasn't an issue and food and drink was available (Mickey ice cream bars! - my son was in heaven!). In conclusion, this is an amazing villa. The perfect base for your HH vacation."
