  • Very comfortable mountain home

"Wonderful stay over the Halloween weekend. 6 spacious rooms with plenty of public space to entertain and unwind. When another vacation calls for the North GA mountains this will be our spot."

  • Wonderful, attractive and cozy!

"We loved our time at Big Bear Pen. Bart was very helpful with questions and recommendations. The mountain house was cozy, well-equipped, clean, and just as described. It was truly a lovely and cozy place to stay. I would definitely consider staying here again and I would recommend it to others. One recommendation...the woodstove in the main room is great, but the usual wood (for fireplaces) doesn't quite fit in there. It would be good to either provide an axe to chop the wood shorter (My husband collected some wood outside, but the firewood one buys at the store is too long and needs to be chopped in half.), or to bring one. Other than this, it was a wonderful place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

  • Wonderful, relaxing, fun.

"We had the best weekend ever at the Lake House on Lake Becky, SC. The house is beautiful we went swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing and just floating. S'mores at night. Lunch at Chatooga Belle vineyards with views of 3 states has amazing views and the food is very good. Can't wait to go back!!"

  • Perfect!

"We had a wonderful stay at Laurel Loft! The space is inviting, comfortable, bright, and perfectly decorated. With two bedrooms and two baths, there is room to spare. An amazing deck wraps around the main living area lending itself to the perfect cup of morning coffee. Though we didn't cook beyond a simple breakfast, the loft was fully appointed with everything you would need should you desire to prepare your meals. The location is private and, though there are other houses in close proximity, we never saw nor heard another. It's super convenient to the quaint center of Highlands - as well as a myraid of surrounding areas - where shops and restaurants abound. Should we come back to the area, we would definitely request a second stay at Laurel Loft!"
