  • Georgeous outdoor living space with lovely view of the sunset.

"Stunning mountain views. Outdoor area with fireplace was amazing and where we spent majority of our time. Well stocked with fire wood. Nice to watch the sunset with a roaring fire and a glass of wine. Kid and dog friendly. Cabin itself is a bit dated but comfortable. Be aware that there is not a dinning area inside the cabin and only a small wooden table on the screened deck. We would visit again."

  • Perfect for Family Reunion

"We just ended a wonderful vacation with family staying at the Rock House. There was plenty of room for sixteen family members with ages ranging from 18 months to 74 years. Very nice location; not too close to town but not too far away either. The house was very well kept, comfortable and inviting; just like walking into home. Beautifully appointed with a collection of children's artwork and full of surprises. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking several full meals during our stay. The Writer's Retreat was perfect for the young adults to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main house. We loved the access to and from the lake as far as the steps to the dock were concerned. They were not too steep which made the walk back up to the house much more bearable! The kids loved fishing and jumping and swimming off the dock. We explored the lake from boat, and found the Jumping Rock. We also found the Lighthouse Restaurant and Keowee Marina, not to mention several waterfalls in the area, including Lake Jocassee. Dave and Lucy thought of everything to make our stay pleasant. Dave was excellent at communication and was available by phone or text to answer any questions and discuss any concerns. Only bad thing was we didn't want to leave. Great place to stay and will for sure stay here again if it's available next time we go to Lake Keowee."

  • Great Lake house

"We spent the Fourth of July holiday at this lake house and it was wonderful! It is located on one of the best coves on the lake. Very little traffic in the cove and wonderful sunsets. The house is perfect and makes you feel right at home. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. Can't wait to stay here again!"

  • Terrific place to stay!

"Beautifully maintained, comfortable, well appointed mountain home. Fabulous screened porch with wood burning fireplace was a real plus! The location within Trillium is great. Low traffic in this area with a nice open grassy lawn across from the front door. We will definitely go back. We highly recommend. Thank you! Beverly and Jim"
