  • Location, Location, Location

"My wife and I and another couple spent three January nights at "The Nest" and had a really good time. It is very nice. No fireplace, but the heat worked great with 20 degree weather outside. It is well decorated and the in-town location is excellent. Beth was great to work with. There are 13 steep steps to climb to get into the unit so carrying the luggage up and going up and down stairs could be an issue for some people. Once you are in the unit it is all on one level. I would not hesitate in recommending it. If you have never been to Highlands you have got to come. It is our favorite place to go for a driving vacation. Great restaurants , shops, and outdoor activities."

  • Everything you could ask for...even better than home. Thanks so much to Jane.

"This property has so much attention to detail ,inside & outside, it can only be expressed by seeing it. There is a reason there are only "5 STAR" reviews on this lil slice of heaven in the Highlands. Best VRBO property I've ever experienced. Jeff C."

  • Home Away from Home for some Tiger Football

"This was the perfect spot to stay to go to a Clemson game! About a mile from campus, roomy and cozy. We will for sure be looking in to staying here in the future! One drawback: three bathrooms but only one shower. It worked for our group though :)"

  • Like Two Vacations in One

"I rented this lake house to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. I didn't realize before getting there that I would have two vacations in one. Of course, one vacation was being directly on the lake and relaxing with my family. The other vacation was a surprise...the mountains. The design and decorations of the lake house make you feel like you are in the mountains. We truly enjoyed our time and did not want to leave. If you are wanting a quiet, relaxing time, look no further."
