  • Custer VRBO

"The description of this VRBO was very accurate. This property was very clean & well stocked. We enjoyed the deer and wild turkeys that walked through our yard everyday. We also loved how private it was. We would consider staying here again."

  • Home away from home!

"My family and I had the greatest experience with this rental before, during, and after our stay. Prior to the vacation, Perry was quick to respond to any questions I had regarding the stay. During our stay, the cabin was completely furnished. Perry was even thoughtful enough to keep out a highchair and toys for my baby. This was extremely convenient and required less packing on our end. However, we did have to buy a toy Perry had at the cabin as soon as we got home as my son loved it so :). While the amenities were great, the experience was just as wonderful! This rental is in a prime location and very close to a majority of the main attractions. Although it rained out a couple of our plans, it didn't dampen our spirits. We got a puzzle and relaxed in the homey cabin. On our way home, my mother realized that she has forgotten her purse in the cabin. Being 7 hours away, we couldn't just turn around and go back to get it. Perry was kind enough to mail it to her home. We greatly appreciated that! We highly recommend this rental to anyone and everyone. There was not a single downside to this stay. Thank you for everything, Perry!"

  • Awesome!

"We have a family of 5 and thought we would try something like this vs two hotel rooms!! We were pleasantly surprised!! Had everything we needed for all of us! We ate breakfast and dinner there most days since we had a kitchen and the kids enjoyed fire pits everynight! If you are looking for a good central location for all attractions this is your place! We got everywhere fast!! I would highly recommend this as a place to stay! Warm and cozy and they were so nice and helpful with anything we needed!! Thank you for the great family getaway!!"

  • Wonderful Black Hills get away with our dogs!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our autumn week at this spacious, quiet cabin. It is surrounded by the pines and meadows of the Black Hills National Forest, with no nearby neighbors. We saw deer and turkeys from the living room window, and at night the coyotes sang and a Great Horned owl hooted from across the field. It was lovely to see the stars through the upstairs skylights. Everything was clean and well maintained; the beds were comfortable and the full kitchen was very well equipped. We used the electric heat a couple of times and it warmed the rooms quickly. The woodstove was a cozy alternative. The washer and dryer were convenient to have; we did a couple of loads before we headed home. The Internet worked great, which was nice, given no cell service at the cabin. (Didn’t use the TV.) We also appreciated the hardwood and ceramic tiled floors, which made sweeping up easy after our two spaniels. (The loft has comfortable carpeting.) The owner replied to all communication very quickly, and we are glad that he shared his lovely place with us! The location made it very easy to visit Custer State Park, Wind and Jewel Caves, Crazy Horse, and Mt. Rushmore. The town of Custer is close by and has great stores, including a large grocery store, and places to eat. We will be back!"
