  • Quiet, great view, comfortable

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, and seemed quite new. Beautiful rustic hardwood floors, big kitchen/dining table, perfect for 8 or more to play cards, etc. Walk in showers, screened in porch, large new hot tub/spa, large flat-screen TV with lots of satellite channels, etc. The WiFi was spotty/poor, and cell-phone coverage (AT&T) was non-existent, but you're not out in the 'sticks' for technology anyway. They allowed pets, which was one of the key reasons we stayed. Would stay again!"

  • Great for family

"We were 3 generations traveling together. We stayed 4 nights and it was great. Close to all the attractions and town.s we wanted to visit. My grandchildren loved it, they loved playing in the yard. Had a great kitchen, grill and hot tub. Plenty of room for the 8 of use. Everything was great, the cabin was very clean. Will recommend to friends and family and will stay again if travel that way. The only thing that was wrong was the internet was very slow."

  • Wonderful vacation home, secluded but centrally located.

"My family and another couple stayed for one week at the home and enjoyed all aspects of the house. It is centrally located in the black hills allowing easy access to all of the attractions in and around Mount Rushmore. It is an easy and beautiful drive to Sturgis, Deadwood, and Spearfish as well as Hot springs, Custer, and Hill City. The house is fully stocked and perfect for kids to run and explore the outdoors. In addition, there are multiple decks for renters to relax and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. This is a home that the owners live in throughout the year, and is loaded with their personal touches and personal family photos. The closets and dressers are not usable for the renter, but other than that minor inconvenience - this is a top notch, quiet, vacation rental."

  • Great Getaway

"My wife and I were on our first visit to South Dakota. Our Hidden Valley Cabin was close to major points of interest and made sightseeing very easy. The cabin was neat, clean and in good repair. Connie was very helpful, when needed, but not intrusive. We enjoyed the wildlife that wandered into the yard, the peace and quiet and the night sky. The secluded, yet close to town location made everything very convenient."
