  • Perfect Black Hills getaway!

"We stayed at Steph's cabin for a long weekend in mid-September and it was wonderful! Steph made the process of renting so easy --- she was quick to respond to any questions and really made it stress-free. I had never rented through a site like this before and was a little apprehensive, but it ended up being a wonderful experience. The cabin itself is in a great location, so close to the beautiful Canyon Lake Park. When we arrived, the inside was very clean and we were impressed to find it stocked with so many little amenities. The place had some natural wear and tear (which we liked), but everything appeared to be very well maintained and tidy. One of the best parts was the fenced in backyard --- the dogs absolutely loved it! During our stay we ventured out on some hiking trips, and each time we looked forward to returning to the cabin to relax and unwind. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat, we felt right at home!"

  • Great choice for a big family getaway

"We booked the cabin last minute for a big family vacation. We stayed in the Black Hills for 4 days. The immediate location was gorgeous, the cabin was very nice, just what we were looking for and more. Nicely equipped for big family meals and relaxation. The kids enjoyed the spacious floor plan, the pool table and the bunkbeds on the upper level. The hot tub was clean. We would definitely return again! Great communication setting up booking and getting instructions on a last-minute booking. Thanks Rick!"

  • Amazing Family Getaway!

"When you go on vacation one of the great unknowns is where you will call "home" for the next few days. Will it be clean? Will it be big enough? Will the kids find something to do and overall, will this be a good experience? Well Hynes Cabin is absolutely perfect! We are a large family (7) with small kids and we had plenty of room! The views were absolutely amazing. The horse run in the evenings was a unique experience for all, not to mention all the amenities of the KOA (rock climbing, pools, hot tubs, food, horseback riding, putt-putt, water slide, etc.). This is a rustic cabin close to all the attractions of the area and with plenty to do if you choose to stay put for a day! Highly recommended!"

  • Jodi

"I am in tons of houses and am rarely impressed. However, this house impressed me. The house is very large, but doesn't feel overly huge. You can see the outside from everywhere. We had a perfect amount of bedrooms and bathrooms and the kids had their own space to play and watch a movie. Loved the extras like nightlights in the rooms. Loved the large kitchen and everyone having a spot to sit when we ate. Loved being in the middle of nowhere - but close to everything. We will definitely stay here again if we plan a trip. A couple of things - we would have loved to have an extra roll of paper towels - and maybe a few paper plates for the morning we left. Also - we could have easily started more laundry (towels and sheets) if we would have had more detergent. We would definitely (and already have) refer this place to other people. Thanks for letting us stay in your home."
