  • Very cute, impeccably clean

"we stayed in room 5, which is called the tourist trap. Cute decor is a bit vintage with sawed off suitcases anchored to the walls for shelving and various travel items like a map to mark where you're from. Patty is so very kind and cheerful. She gave us lots of tips on spearfish canyon. This is a great place and location."

  • Nice Cabin!

"We enjoyed our stay on Lake Poinsett! The cabin was as advertised, very nice, clean and work well for our group of 5. We enjoyed the central location and the view from the kitchen/family room was awesome. The owner was very responsive, communicated well and everything went as planned. Thank You Casey! We're already talking coming back next year!"

  • Fantastic for a Fall Vacation

"Our group of 10 rented both units for a week. The location was great, a convenient walk to the grocery store and Main St, looking down over the 1880 Train and Hill City. Plenty of room, with leaves in the table we were able to get all 10 of us around the dinner table. The owners/managers were outstanding to deal with, especially Marcia. Quick to respond, and helpful beyond what was expected. There is so much to do in the Black Hills, and these townhomes are well located close to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer & Custer State Park...and only a short 30 minutes or so into Rapid City. Don't miss the Black Hills Institute if you love dinosaurs. Their collection is amazing. Don't miss out on visiting this area. It's a bit of a hidden gem."
