  • Another great stay at Hidden Cove!

"We just left this property last week. Our stay in Jan was great. We hit the slopes every day. Sugar and Beech were in full swing with lots of snow. The cabin we loved. This place is very clean, neat and everything needed is provided. Our family really enjoyed the beds. They are extremely comfortable with very nice linens and comfortable pillows. All bedrooms have glass sliding doors that open up onto decks making it so convenient to just step out and get a breath of fresh air. You can tell the views of the lake and mountains were taken right off the deck of this house you can even focus in and see the exact same railing on the deck as the online pictures. Just note that each season has its look. Winter will look more bear with less water and foliage. Summer months are going to be a totally different look. We have stayed her twice now. Our last stay was in July and the lake was so full of water that it was splashing on the road. Even though water levels fluctuate with the seasons its still pretty much the same gorgeous view. The housekeeper does live just below the hill and thank good ness for that. I called twice for help. First I locked myself out, she arrived within minutes to get me back in. She even stopped by to help me when my youngest got sick. She gets a big A+ for that assistance and so thankful for her being close enough to help quickly. We found the other homes & yards in the area to be neat & clean. Our expectations of the property have been met both stays. We love it and plan to return soon."

  • A wonderful get away place!

"We spent a couple of weeks at this cabin and it was great. The area is secluded, quite and beautiful. The cabin was fastidiously clean and everything worked. The internet and Dish TV worked fine. A wonderful stay, we will return."

  • Serious nature lovers only! :)

"The perfect place to relax and unwind! The house was beautiful and stocked with everything imaginable!(Outdoor shower included) So much beautiful land to explore and a pond for fishing. Don't forget your camera because there are photo ops at every turn(wildlife, mountains, sunrises). Located within easy driving distance from some amazing places. Boone,NC,Blowing Rock,Grandfather Mountain,Jonesborough,Tn,Johnson City and of course Watauga Lake. The customer service was outstanding. The manager is close by for any concerns and Barb was a phone call away. 4 adults slept comfortably and we had plenty of space to move around. Night time in the mountains can be a little chilly so the satellite tv(all channels) and collection of dvd's came in handy. The house is situated on the main road but you wouldn't know it sitting on the back porch(where we spent most of our time when we weren't taking in the sites). Bird feed is sitting by the door so it was fun to feed and watch the birds and the turkey was our morning alarm clock. For anyone staying I suggest a drive to Daniel Boone Inn(about 25 miles in Boone,NC) for some downhome delicious cooking! I would highly recommend this spot for families, couples, fishermen,or even girls weekend. Fall is a great time of the year to visit for sure(we could sit out and watch the leaves changing :) Can't wait for a return trip! Thanks for everything! !"

  • Great cozy cabin

"Great cabin for a weekend trip. We went as a couple only but with the layout and multiple bedrooms will keep this cabin on our list to return to with other couples to spend the weekend. Jacuzzi was great with a mini game room and entertainment room downstairs. Very quiet and secluded however a ton to do in the area if you like hiking, beer, wine, and outdoor activities."
