  • Louisana

"My family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Location was great. Grocery store was very close which was a lot of help since we cooked several meals to help with expenses. Our third morning we saw a very big black bear right off our balcony. Mrs. Laura answered me right away if I had any questions during the week. Our highlights, Dixie Stampede, zipling at Legacy Mountain, rafting with Big Bear, Grotti falls"

  • Ideal Base for Your Visit to the National Park and/or Gatlinburg

"When my family of five arrived, my daughter said, "Can we live here?" A week later, we were all sad to leave this beautiful cabin. The cabin is located in a log cabin community. You will be located only a few miles from either the National Park or the very touristy downtown Gatlinburg. You will have some neighbors, but the cabin feels private. You are well separated from all the craziness of Gatlinburg. Because this cabin is located on a hilltop, from the back deck, you can see a few neighboring rooftops. Sight lines are well considered, and you can sit in the hot tub on the deck, enjoy the mountain view, and feel that you have total privacy. There is a community pool within a minute or two drive of the cabin. The pool is nothing special (think hotel pool), but it's clean, well maintained and convenient to access. Our kids enjoyed spending a couple afternoons playing there. The interior of the cabin is in excellent condition, very clean and well maintained, and tastefully decorated with a mountain cabin theme. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics. We prepared and ate most of our meals in the cabin, and we had everything we needed. Our favorite feature of the cabin was the deck with the hot tub, porch swing, rockers and beautiful view. The cabin was a good fit for our family of five. Our youngest slept on a twin air mattress, which is provided in the cabin. The entrance to the National Park is easily within reach. If you're looking for a little "off the beaten path" hiking while you're in the area, we would recommend the Porter's Creek Trail in the Greenbrier area. The trailhead is only 10 minutes from the cabin. Do yourself a favor and pick up some of the epic cinnamon rolls from the Mountain Lodge Restaurant, only 5 minutes away."

  • Wonderful Vacation Spot!!

"We chose Moose Crossing for our family vacation. With our three children plus my in laws, it accommodated all of us comfortably. The view from the deck was spectacular - especially in the mornings while having coffee. Upon check in the cabin was emaculately clean. We were very impressed! The owner was great to work with and everything was easy while putting the trip together. We most definitely would rent this cabin again and were so pleased with our experience!"

  • Big Buck Lodge - Great Lodge and a great location!

"I hosted a sales meeting at the Big Buck Lodge and everyone had a great time and enjoyed the accommodations. It had plenty of room for 12 adult men with several areas to meet and several areas if you wanted to be alone or be in a smaller group. It was nice to have two refrigerators, two stoves and two microwaves. The views from the back deck were great and the proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge made it easy to plan day activities."
