  • Ideal Base for Your Visit to the National Park and/or Gatlinburg

"When my family of five arrived, my daughter said, "Can we live here?" A week later, we were all sad to leave this beautiful cabin. The cabin is located in a log cabin community. You will be located only a few miles from either the National Park or the very touristy downtown Gatlinburg. You will have some neighbors, but the cabin feels private. You are well separated from all the craziness of Gatlinburg. Because this cabin is located on a hilltop, from the back deck, you can see a few neighboring rooftops. Sight lines are well considered, and you can sit in the hot tub on the deck, enjoy the mountain view, and feel that you have total privacy. There is a community pool within a minute or two drive of the cabin. The pool is nothing special (think hotel pool), but it's clean, well maintained and convenient to access. Our kids enjoyed spending a couple afternoons playing there. The interior of the cabin is in excellent condition, very clean and well maintained, and tastefully decorated with a mountain cabin theme. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics. We prepared and ate most of our meals in the cabin, and we had everything we needed. Our favorite feature of the cabin was the deck with the hot tub, porch swing, rockers and beautiful view. The cabin was a good fit for our family of five. Our youngest slept on a twin air mattress, which is provided in the cabin. The entrance to the National Park is easily within reach. If you're looking for a little "off the beaten path" hiking while you're in the area, we would recommend the Porter's Creek Trail in the Greenbrier area. The trailhead is only 10 minutes from the cabin. Do yourself a favor and pick up some of the epic cinnamon rolls from the Mountain Lodge Restaurant, only 5 minutes away."

  • Wonderful Vacation Spot!!

"We chose Moose Crossing for our family vacation. With our three children plus my in laws, it accommodated all of us comfortably. The view from the deck was spectacular - especially in the mornings while having coffee. Upon check in the cabin was emaculately clean. We were very impressed! The owner was great to work with and everything was easy while putting the trip together. We most definitely would rent this cabin again and were so pleased with our experience!"

  • Nice clean cozy cabin, in a beautiful place.

"My wife and I were there for only 2 nights, and we were not disappointed. Having read all the reviews before, our main concern was whether it is going to be clean. And I'm happy to report thankfully it was very very clean. It's not very big, but for us it was perfect, it has a really cozy feel to it. We enjoyed sitting on the swing on the porch gazing at that beautiful mountain view, (although IMHO the swing should be turned around to face the view). The indoor private pool and the sauna is something amazing, we enjoyed it immensely, it's a lot of fun. We didn't use the hot tub nor did we use the pool table. Now let me add something important! I read in one or more of the reviews that one should follow the directions they send you through email and NOT follow the GPS, I thought my GPS is better than others, let me tell you, I was wrong! When you get there if you make a wrong turn at one of the streets it takes you up a narrow unpaved very steep hill, and that's were I ended up... I ended up in a persons driveway, that had big signs "Private property", and there's nowhere to turn around safely. Thankfully the guy from the house came out and helped us turn around and showed us where we should go. I was lucky that I arrived when there was still daylight, otherwise I would have freaked out completely!! So I add my voice to those before me, warning you NOT to follow your GPS, follow the directions sent to you by email before you arrive, and you'll be good. Again this is a cozy nice clean cabin, for a very decent price. Thank you, and I look forward to coming again."

  • Big Buck Lodge - Great Lodge and a great location!

"I hosted a sales meeting at the Big Buck Lodge and everyone had a great time and enjoyed the accommodations. It had plenty of room for 12 adult men with several areas to meet and several areas if you wanted to be alone or be in a smaller group. It was nice to have two refrigerators, two stoves and two microwaves. The views from the back deck were great and the proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge made it easy to plan day activities."
