  • Lovely, spacious home with beautiful mountain views.

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sunstone Lodge. Beds were comfortable and the house was well supplied with cooking equipment, two toasters and two coffee makers, which we used every morning. Everything was in good working order and each room had its own bathroom plus a half bath off the kitchen. Very comfortable couches in both the living room upstairs and TV viewing room downstairs. Plus throw blankets were a cozy touch. We would have preferred the convenienc of a gas grill but enjoyed the charcoal flavor in our burgers and hotdogs. Also got to see some spectacular sunrises over the mountains."

  • Wonderful Cabin!!

"My family and I stayed at this amazing cabin last weekend and it was just as wonderful as the pictures showed! We read the previous reviews so we were prepared for the steep driveway (well my husband was prepared haha)! We would definitely stay here again and I have already recommended it to another couple planning a trip later this year! Thank you for a great time in the mountains!"

  • Best of the best

"This cabin has it all. It has a homey feel to it, an excellent view of the mountains/Gatlinburg/ski resort. Plenty of games/activities for all ages. The indoor pool just tops it off. The master suite is just beautiful. The owner is quick to respond to any questions you may have. You can't go wrong with this cabin. Just amazing. We will definitely come back."

  • Southern comfort . . . and bears!

"Twelve of us from grandparents to grandkids felt right at home in this mountain retreat. The roads are steep, the driveway too, and, yes, a bear greeted us as we arrived, but what a great place for a family to get away! When they weren't in the arcade room (which everyone loved) the kids took over the sunken fireplace seating area as their domain, while the adults gathered in the living and dining areas and enjoyed watching the OberGatlinburg aerial tram floating across our picture window. Pools in the community were very nice and Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge offer something for every vacation interest. The dimensions of the chalet are quite cozy, the kitchen was a little tight for more than one cook, but had everything we needed to prepare the majority of our meals "at home." The bedrooms were also cozy, but there was plenty of bedding and comfy beds for everyone. The interior stairway was a little tight and steep for an oldster like myself, which might be a consideration if you have limited mobility. The only issue we experienced, a hot tub malfunction, was solved with a single phone call and prompt service. All things considered a great vacation in a setting which although new to us was as comfortable as an old shoe."
