  • My family and I loved it!

"Loved this cabin! Close to attractions and was big enough to hold my large Kentucky and North Carolina family. Definitely plan on staying here again."

  • Beautiful relaxing place. View was outstanding.

"We had a group of 16 adults from our church visit Gatlinburg for a couple days. We wanted a cabin where everyone would have their own bathroom. I haven't seen a cabin with 9 bedrooms & 9 bathrooms. I was very happy to find Buckhead Lodge. I was a little concerned about all the rules, but they were easy to follow. We cooked dinner & breakfast at the lodge, 3 tables & bar stools provided plenty of seating, and the kitchen was well stocked. We had to contact Tari twice about a propane tank & location of braker box. She answered right away & saw to our needs. Road to lodge was very windy but WOW what a view it was worth the drive. We attended Biblical Times theatre, enjoyed the food & show. So good to see something that praises God in this day & time. My favorite part was setting on the porch with a cup of coffee & watching the sun rise. Plan to visit again. Thank you Tari!"

  • Enjoyable Stay

"The best part of "An Incredible View" cabin is the owner Robin. She is easy to reach, attentive, and strives to provide personal touches during your stay. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen that included pie plates and a rolling pin, resulting in a fabulous peach pie for dessert one evening. Robin replaced the broken can opener as soon as we brought it to her attention. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and appreciated how clean it was (I believe she replaces the water for each rental). My adult sons tried to play a game of pool; however, there isn't much clearance around the table which made several shots very awkward and some impossible. But the reason for 4 stars vs 5 is related to the view. Based on the description of an "unobstructed view" and the pictures posted on the site, I was disappointed when we arrived to discover that the pictures reflect the view during months when there are no leaves on the trees. The gorgeous summer view is interrupted by a large deciduous tree in the middle of the sight line of the mountains. It's my fault for not paying closer attention to the details in the pictures (which show the bare tree that creates the obstacle when it has leaves). I don't know if it would have made a difference in our rental decision as we had also considered another property with a full view, but it would have been helpful if there was a photo posted during the summer on the website, or if the description stated "unobstruceted three season view," instead of "unobstructive view." Just a suggestion. All in all, it was a lovely vacation and we appreciated Robin's attentiveness."
