  • Comfortable Chalet

"We enjoyed our stay in the chalet very much! Laura was very responsive to every email and question I asked. The whole process went very smoothly and we would definitely stay again. The location was perfect. We were only minutes from all of the activities we did in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville areas. It was so nice to escape the craziness of those cities to a quiet chalet outside of town. Having a jacuzzi was wonderful to soak in after hiking in the Smoky Mountains National Park. The Chalet pools were very nice, as well. I would recommend this chalet. Thanks, Laura!"

  • Excellent Stay

"Everyone in our group had a great stay at the chalet. Upon arrival the house was spotless. The interior pictures don't quite do it justice. It appears to be a custom- built home, very simple and understated but very nice. The main family room has at least a 20ft high vaulted ceiling which gives it a spacious, open feel. The chalet has 3 levels, and all the levels have separate decks. What really sets this chalet apart is the view. My cousin, who has stayed in the area for 15 yrs and knows it very well said he doesn't think there is a better view anywhere around. It has panoramic, almost 180 degree views. The chalet itself is high up, the land slopes downward below. From the main level you are 4-5 stories up looking over treetops, out across at numerous ridges and mountains, including Mt. Leconte. And the scenery is constantly changing, depending on the time of day. We definitely plan on returning."

  • Enjoyable Stay

"The best part of "An Incredible View" cabin is the owner Robin. She is easy to reach, attentive, and strives to provide personal touches during your stay. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen that included pie plates and a rolling pin, resulting in a fabulous peach pie for dessert one evening. Robin replaced the broken can opener as soon as we brought it to her attention. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and appreciated how clean it was (I believe she replaces the water for each rental). My adult sons tried to play a game of pool; however, there isn't much clearance around the table which made several shots very awkward and some impossible. But the reason for 4 stars vs 5 is related to the view. Based on the description of an "unobstructed view" and the pictures posted on the site, I was disappointed when we arrived to discover that the pictures reflect the view during months when there are no leaves on the trees. The gorgeous summer view is interrupted by a large deciduous tree in the middle of the sight line of the mountains. It's my fault for not paying closer attention to the details in the pictures (which show the bare tree that creates the obstacle when it has leaves). I don't know if it would have made a difference in our rental decision as we had also considered another property with a full view, but it would have been helpful if there was a photo posted during the summer on the website, or if the description stated "unobstruceted three season view," instead of "unobstructive view." Just a suggestion. All in all, it was a lovely vacation and we appreciated Robin's attentiveness."

  • Can't Wait To Come Back

"My family and I stayed here for a long weekend and had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival, the lights were welcoming us inside and the music playing was a nice touch. There were also some snacks in the kitchen, which my kids enjoyed after our long drive. The interior of the cabin is exactly as pictured, so cozy and clean. My kids loved the pool table, the Foosball table and the games. They would play these while I was preparing meals in the very equipped kitchen. The location of the cabin is perfect, we were able to do activities in the morning, return to the cabin for lunch, do another activity and return to the cabin for dinner. The clubhouse is very close by and the pool with a slide was a welcomed activity after a hot morning of hiking. Ober Gatlinburg is super close too. Karen was so great to work with. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back again soon!"
