  • Dancing Bear

"One of the most beautiful and comfortable places my family has stayed. Actually, I have stayed at the Alberts' family condo twice: once in July, 2016 with my daughters and grandchildren and in Nov., 2016 with my husband. The second visit was prompted by the first. The view of the Smokies and from the Alberts' family deck is magnificent. It is mesmerizing, restful, beautiful. It is gorgeous even at night as you can see the lights of Gatlinburg. The condo is comfortable, very clean, quiet. The first trip in July involved grandchildren who loved the condo. There is plenty of room; the condo is charming. They enjoyed the pools and the playset on the grounds. The hosts, Jeff Alberts and his wife, are the most gracious and accommodating I have ever worked with. I have been there summer and fall and am looking forward to a spring visit. I recommend The Dancing Bear condo in the heartiest of terms."

  • Bike trip 2016

"This was a great place to stay for the 6 couples and 2 singles we had for our 2016 fall motorcycle trip. there was plently of room for all of us and plenty of parking for our bikes and a truck with a trailer. the parking is paved as well which with bikes is important. the location could not have been better for us since we were not to interested in the city we just wanted to get out for the day to ride out of traffic. right down ski mountain road to the last light in gatlinburg and were out so easy. Really did not need to bring much with us as most things needed were supplied. Now for the bad parts. The house could use some cosmetic repairs, nothing that affected are stay at all just looks like some poor repair work done inside and out which takes away from the beauty of the great room and all the stone work. again none of it affected our stay whatsoever. The coffee maker supplied did not work and when contacted Michale said there was another which there was but the pot did not fit so we had to make cups which was ok but more work. We did not use the hot tub as it did have an odor to it and the jets when turned on were at garden hose force at best. probably ok for little kids but dissapointing to adults. A can opener would also be a nice addition to the utility drawer. the driveway is steep but that is very common in the area. Overall we had a great stay and if we were to be back in the area we would stay here again without thinking twice. the price was right and the location was perfect. we did see a bear walking up the street like he owned the place but none to close to the house."

  • Aspen Retreat

"The cabin was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy and shower was great, but my favorite part was the hot tub! Great place to stay, we will be back. Love the quick access to the park. Hiking made us a little sore, but a trip to Quiet Reflections Message helped us to relax. Great weekend!"
