  • Perfect Getaway!

"My brother and I rented this cabin for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. They absolutely loved their stay and said it was a beautiful cabin. I am hoping to book my husband and I are trip here soon. Excellent rental and won't cost you so much you can't go and explore, shop, and eat around town. Highly recommend!"

  • Beautiful Place, Scary Drive

"The cabin is beautiful and has top notch appliances, bedding, and decor. You probably won't find any place that is nicer than this cabin. The jetted tub inside and hot tub outside should please just about anyone. The property managers do a really nice job. The towels are folded into swans, etc to greet you just like on a cruise ship. It is not totally secluded as there are 3 cabins within eyesight, which was fine with us. We are not into being hermits. The roads are paved but unless you frequent the mountains often, you might find it a good idea to find this cabin in the daylight. Further, if you are not a mountain person, understand this cabin is on top of the mountain. You should have good brakes and good tires and you definitely should not have a trailer attached. There are multiple ways to get to this cabin. It is much less stressful to go through Gatlinburg, go past Food City on Parkway and turn left at the light. That is a the road with many, many arts and crafts stores and few good restaurants. We considered this a "back route". Do not go toward Pigeon Forge and take the route off that main road. It will scare non mountain people half to death. Your GPS might say it is a bit shorter or something but that is meaningless because you will drive so slow on the twisted, steep roads. Even on the good road, you will need to keep your vehicle in 2nd and 3rd gear. On the front road, you will not be able to see the road in front of you at times. You will have "infinity hood". Although it's listed as Sevierville, it is not in Sevierville. The address totally confused local folks. Trust me. Take the back route. It will save you time and white knuckles, not to mention there are cool shops along the way. This cabin is a great cabin for staying in. I don't think it is one for hiking around. The brush is dense and the terrain is steep. If you want to hike, drive through Gatlinburg toward Cherokee, NC. There are beautiful trails all along the way. For whitewater rafting, we used Nantahala Outdoor Center and rafted the Pigeon Forge. You won't run out of things to do. The owner is very nice and communicates often and takes very good care of this property."

  • Log Cabin of Gatlinburg

"This cabin was very easy to find. Extremely close to the parkway, however if you are looking to travel here in icy/snow weathers, there is a very nice little hill you will have to climb. The site could use some updated pics because it actually looks better than what is shown. The bedrooms are VERY roomy. 2 queen beds in all rooms except the Master bedroom there's 1. The Master didn't have a television, but it sat right outside the living room so that wasn't a problem. There is no view what so ever, but for this price, who needs one? Mr Randy was extremely helpful! He accommodated all of our needs being next door & a phone call away. The people prior to our stay removed the HDMI cord for the TV, he came over & hooked up another one so we would be able to enjoy it. He even brought us a grill upon request. It was very small but it got the job done. The only cons of the cabin was there wasn't enough dishes/silverware to accommodate 8 people, (cabin sleeps 14). If staying more than a day I suggest you get paper plates etc. There wasn't an blender, or electric can opener & the hand can opener that was there was extremely hard to use (old). If you have a big party where people will be in each room, be sure to take showers a 1/2 hr apart or more because the hot water will run out. Other than that, it is worth a stay! My family & I will definitely be staying here again!"
