  • Wonderful Stay and Wonderful Location

"This property was amazing and a great value. We had two boys who loved the game system, and they loved being able to retreat to the game room to play it. The property offered a great view of the Obergatlinburg Tram as it would travel by. The hot tub was a fantastic amenity after hiking through the mountains. The only downfall I found with this property was on me. I had to learn to use my vehicle in low gear range to navigate my way down the mountain as to not abuse my breaks. Michael and Robin were very accommodating by leaving a journal of events and things to potentially due. They as well left cards that were very handy in offering discounts at local attractions. Blue Bear was a great place to stay and it was hard to leave such a beautiful place. If you want to stay at a place to make some great memories, I recommend this property. Thank you to Michael and Robin for letting us be there guest."

  • great vacation

"This home was a great place for a family vacation. While the house needs a little fixing up attention - it was clean and had all we needed. the view from the back deck was an amazing place to have morning coffee and the nightly stroll by a bear reinforced the fact we were in the mountains. The location was close to many great destinations so we had a lot to do each cay. I would highly recommend this for your next vacation"

  • Fantastic vacation home!

"4 families, including some 20 year olds and a 13 year old, spent a week at Sunstone. We had a wonderful time! The home is so large, there was plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen worked so well for preparing family meals too. The dining table was large enough for all of us to eat and play games. There was wildlife to see plus many activities, a day on a pontoon boat, white water rafting and many places to hike, to keep us all busy! I can't say enough about how easy it was to work with Lynn, the owner. She answered all of my questions before we got there so there were no surprises! We went to the Buckberry Lodge for pre-dinner drinks and loved it!. Thanks, Lynn, for a wonderful vacation! Kathleen Kettman"

  • Great Cabin For The Price

"We just returned from a 3 day vacation in this cabin. It is a very nice cabin and well secluded nestled up on a hillside. The 2 rooms are very spacious with very large bathrooms. The kitchen area is a great size as well. The Pool Table upstairs and the Hot tub on the deck was also a nice plus to this cabin. The location is great being in the middle of Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. One thing to be warned of if you are renting this cabin is the road up the mountain is VERY curvy and the driveway is tight and steep to get to the cabin. So just know that going into it. I'm glad it was the summer and not wintery conditions trying to navigate up the winding inclined roads. But the cabin is very nice and roomy and definitely worth the price."
