  • Beautiful property inside and out!

"The snuggle bug is the perfect couples getaway. The fireplace inside and Hot tub under the stars outside can't be beat. This cabin would be perfect any time of year. The decorations and the paintings are just beautiful."

  • Spacious house with beautiful view!

"We had a wonderful time with our family celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary! Grandchildren enjoyed playing on the lower level and the common area on main floor. Quiet and beautiful setting with interesting things to do nearby. We had a great time together as a family! Quick response to any concerns we had about the house! Thanks!"

  • Delightful home away from home

"We spent four nights at "It's the Berries" in Cobbly Nob. The mountain view was absolutely beautiful and at night the lack of city lights gave an awesome view of countless stars and the Milky Way. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I. It has two bathrooms, a wonderful feature for a retired couple not used to sharing this area. The bear theme in this cozy cabin with a Jacuzzi tub, hot tub on the property, modern kitchen, reliable Wifi, and fireplace is seen throughout the living space. Unlike many other rental cabins, this unit has no steps to climb to get in. There is one step up to get in the showers. Because the Great Smokey National Park does not have cell towers, we could not make voice calls with our cell phones but our texts got through. The cabin has a landline with no additional costs for local and long distance so emergency and routine calls are not a problem. There is 24-hour security at the entrance to the Cobbly Nob properties and we felt safe. There are bears in the area thus the usual precautions need to be made with securing any trash, especially food remnants. I certainly recommend this property to others wanting a cabin rather than a hotel experience. The owners have a shop in Gatlinburg and offer a discount at the Lollipop Guild to their renters. The store is worth a visit."

  • Perfect Family Getaway

"We planned a family summer vacation in the mountains to celebrate our parents' 60th anniversary -- we are so happy we chose Grizzly's Den! The cabin was spacious, clean and well-appointed. There were 17 of us and we had plenty of room -- also, it was great to have a big enough table and enough chairs to all be able to sit and enjoy meals together. We cooked the majority of our meals at the cabin and there were plenty of pots, cooking utensils, plates, etc. We were short on towels when we arrived, but we alerted the owner and received more towels within several hours. One of the best parts of our stay was seeing bears - not just once, but on several occasions, right in the back yard. The day we arrived, a mother and cubs showed up to welcome us! A couple of storms rolled through during our stay which resulted in brief power outages on two evenings. Being from Florida, we are used to this and weren't terribly inconvenienced -- but if we could make one suggestion it would be for flashlights to be stashed away for guests to use in those situations, as the cabin can get pretty dark at night. All in all, we had a great stay at Grizzly's Den. We hated to leave and would definitely stay at this cabin again!"
