  • Country living not far from town

"Richard and Wanda's property was perfect for our family vacation! Comfortable home with plenty of space for the 8 of us for the weekend. We did run into a few maintenance issues that were promptly handled; communication was excellent. True mountain living but close enough to town and popular area attractions. Thanks for allowing us into your beautiful home!"

  • Beautiful Cabin with amazing views. Owners are delightful!

"Just got back from a 3 night stay with the extended family. The cabin is wonderful! The views from the deck are gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the deck with the mountain views. The pictures don't capture how truly stunning the views are from the deck...The kids loved the game room and bedrooms with adjoining baths were great for multiple families. Most of the hiking trails are within 30/40 min drive. There was also a grocery store close (10 min) which was great since we cooked all of our meals at the cabin. We couldn't have been happier with the Cabin and would highly recommend it for a large group. Lastly, the owners were a dream to work with. Very accommodating and a joy to do business with! Will stay again! Book this cabin. You will not be disappointed!"

  • loved the location

"For a family of 4 or 5 this cabin is ideal - perfect location ...many times when a cabin says they are minutes away from Gatlinburg you take it with a grain of salt - minutes have a way of growing in traffic, but with this cabin , Gatliburg is at the end of the your road...on the other side you don't have to fight traffic to get to Food City, a gas station and several restaurants. If you don't have to have a view of a mountainside from 3500 feet in the air, you won't find a better cabin."

  • Perfect Name for the Perfect Cabin!

"What a Cabin! This place was incredible, the attention to detail amazing. Views spectacular, the owners of the property Fantastic! I don't believe the English language has the appropriate adjectives to convey how I feel about this Property, but I am trying. I pray that it survived the wildfire, we checked out the morning of the wildfire destruction in Gatlinburg. I would hate that others would not get to experience all that this Cabin has to offer, plus the owners had put so much into it that it would truly be tragic. The views were absolutely amazing, the pictures do not do it justice. Details all covered, hot tub filled ready to go, how the TV works (instructions printed for your use), welcome basket of various goodies (hot chocolate, coffee, etc.), well equipped kitchen. If you need help finding what to do and where, a basket with every flyer imaginable is right there for your use. The owners had decorated the Cabin for Christmas before our arrival, the lights were on timers all we need do was sit back and enjoy. Towels were even laid out in the shape of a heart in the master suite upstairs (nice touch). If you like movies, and I do, the selection was enormous. Everything in the Cabin was user friendly, even the light switches were labeled. The owner will email you a week before your arrival with everything you need to know, how to enter, wifi, etc. The only thing I didn't know was where the pool cues were located. I texted the owner and had my answer in no time, and boy did I feel dumb when I got the answer. The wife was wanting to get something a little less pricey, but I wanted to make memories that last a lifetime. It may have cost a couple of hundred extra bucks, but it was absolutely the right call. This place was worth it, I could not have asked for better. It was home away from home for us, the main floor living area was spacious and well appointed. The loft/upstairs was a great for my wife and I to carve our private space in this slice of heaven, waking every morning to the spectacular view of the Smokies. The two bedrooms downstairs had their own private bathrooms, pool table, and on the deck hot tub. The drive up the mountain caused some anxious moments for some of the family, but that may have been to do with my driving habits. Know this, the mountain roads are "NOT" wide, they don't have guardrails everywhere, there will be steep hills, there will be tight turns. Trust me you will LOVE IT! Most of all Thank you for your hospitality!"
