  • Couples Get Away

"We were worried about the recent fires but we decided to go anyways and we are so glad that we did. The media sure did make it look far worst than what it was. We saw minimal damage where we were and downtown Gatlinburg was still in tact. We walked and walked through there and shopped. The cabin was amazing. The rooms are spacious and the pool table made the guys stay more enjoyable. The hot tub is amazing, especially at night when you can just relax. The cabin was decorated for Christmas so it made us feel like we were in our own home. The owners are amazing. They communicate with you every step of the way. They called to make sure we didn't have any problems getting there and made sure that everything was working properly. The gas was out so they had that taken care of within an hour of us getting there. They were so easy to work with and I will definitely rent through them again. Trust me when I say you cant go wrong with staying here."

  • View alone rates this location a 5-star

"There were 15 adults and one 2-year old and, I must say, this is the absolutely most beautiful cabin/castle I've ever stayed in.. We stayed over the MLK weekend in January, 2017. The weather definitely helped with warmer-than-usual temperatures.. but, wow -- this house is magnificent! The steps up to the front door look like something out of a magazine.. It would be a perfect venue for a wedding! I had previously reserved a beautiful home in the Gatlinburg area which, unfortunately, burned down along with hundreds of other homes.. Because I live in the next county down from Sevier Co, I went door-to-door trying to find one at the last minute. BTW, the owners of this lodge should thank God above as the fires came within about 1/2 mile to the back yard which borders the Great Smoky Mtns.. Anyway, you walk into the home and are greeted by an expansive dining/sitting/kitchen/living room. Each bedroom was quickly selected for family members and all but one had their very own bathroom. We did have a couple of hiccups along the way -- the elevator quit working on the second day which was sorely missed by my 82 year old father who is dependent on a walker to maneuver around.. It would have been nice for him to watch the NFL playoffs in the theater room where the rest of the guys hung out. In addition, there was a problem with the oven door (the one on the left wouldn't close all the way). We tried to locate directions for the steam room (downstairs) but never could find any.. the same for the stove itself.. no 'owners manual' to be found.. pages of user manuals would be great inside the binder located in the sitting area.. I will say that the bed was quite comfortable which is a first for me (I've rented so many cabins in the past and none have ever been this comfortable!). My suggestion to the owners would be to replace the queen sized beds with king sized beds whenever the time arrives.. it'll just make it that much better! My family are already making plans for next year and really REALLY want me to reserve this one for next year.. Despite any issues we had, nothing can compare to the beauty and wonderful memories we have now. Thank you, owners, for allowing my family into your amazingly beautiful home! And, many thanks to Mountain Air Cabin Rentals for assisting us -- they were wonderful to deal with!"

  • Great cabin outside of Gatlinburg

"This was a great cabin - couldn't have been happier. It's location is perfect outside of Gatlinburg about 25-30 minutes. Front porch offers beautiful mountain views. Secluded location, nice and quiet. Hot tub on the front porch has views of the mountains. The cabin has everything you need --- 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, charcoal grill outside, kitchen in stocked with everything you need for cooking, laundry room. The cabin was clean and decorated nicely. Sandy was very helpful in the booking process and answered any questions I had. We would love to go back and will share this with our friends!!! This was a very relaxing cabin for a weekend getaway."

"Large spacious rooms with great view of the mountains. Accommodates a large family or group with options for privacy. Housekeeping needed attention. Several issues and repairs needed during our week stay were handled asap. Excellent location away from heavy traffic and congestion."
