  • Enjoyable Stay

"The best part of "An Incredible View" cabin is the owner Robin. She is easy to reach, attentive, and strives to provide personal touches during your stay. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen that included pie plates and a rolling pin, resulting in a fabulous peach pie for dessert one evening. Robin replaced the broken can opener as soon as we brought it to her attention. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and appreciated how clean it was (I believe she replaces the water for each rental). My adult sons tried to play a game of pool; however, there isn't much clearance around the table which made several shots very awkward and some impossible. But the reason for 4 stars vs 5 is related to the view. Based on the description of an "unobstructed view" and the pictures posted on the site, I was disappointed when we arrived to discover that the pictures reflect the view during months when there are no leaves on the trees. The gorgeous summer view is interrupted by a large deciduous tree in the middle of the sight line of the mountains. It's my fault for not paying closer attention to the details in the pictures (which show the bare tree that creates the obstacle when it has leaves). I don't know if it would have made a difference in our rental decision as we had also considered another property with a full view, but it would have been helpful if there was a photo posted during the summer on the website, or if the description stated "unobstruceted three season view," instead of "unobstructive view." Just a suggestion. All in all, it was a lovely vacation and we appreciated Robin's attentiveness."

  • Great place to get snowed in while in Gatlinburg!!

"My extended family of 14 rented this cabin for my dad's 70th birthday. We found out a couple of days before that a huge snowstorm was forecast for both Louisville and Nashville where we were travelling from so I called Glenn to see if we could come a day early. He scrambled his team to get the place ready for our early arrival. While we were there, Gatlinburg received several inches of snow. It was gorgeous to watch it all unfold in the warmth and comfort of this cabin. He even had a snow shovel so we could dig ourselves out :) The house was very clean. The bed we slept in was incredible. Plenty of bedrooms and beds for everyone. The kids enjoyed the sleeping loft. The whole family enjoyed the large sectional couch with recliners around the fireplace. This is where we spent most of our time. The kids loved the hot tub and the pool table. There was something for everyone in this cabin. We will definitely be back. Easy trip in and out of the cabin into Gatlinburg, even in the snow. We were hoping to be snowed in an extra day, but it was not to be because the city salted and plowed the roads at least twice a day. Kudos to the city for keeping the roads clear and passable. Highly recommend this cabin for your large family vacation."

  • Perfect location, minutes from downtown & Smoky Mountain National Park

"We booked this cabin when visiting the Smoky Mountain National Park and Gatlinburg. The location is perfect, it's only a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg or the park. The cabin was plenty big for our family of 4. Our two kids enjoyed their own rooms on the main floor, and the master suite was huge which is located upstairs. October was the perfect month to visit the area, warm during the day and cooler at night. We enjoyed using the hot tub/jacuzzi at night, it was quiet and peaceful. The kids had fun with the pool table. The two bathrooms were big, and there were enough towels to use throughout our stay. The driveway was a little steep but manageable. Overall we were very happy with the location and the cabin and can't wait to come back to the area again."

  • Just what we needed!

"Our work schedules allowed us a quick getaway and we decided on the Smoky mountains! Then, we found "Mount LeConte Vista" and are so glad the cabin was available for our stay! We just LOVED this cabin! We cooked most meals at the cabin and I was so pleased with how well the cabin was stocked with pots, pans, dishes and kitchen gadgets! There was even a crockpot! The views are "to die for"! Endless mountain views, a direct view of the activity at Ober Gatlinburg, and a lovely nighttime view of the lights and strip in downtown Gatlinburg. We loved the privacy, there are no neighbors behind the cabin so we felt like we were alone on the mountain. We used the charcoal grill for steaks one evening, and we used the sauna which is inside the cabin and close to the hot tub. The hot tub set-up is so unique, it's sunk into the deck for easy entry and exit, plus it's enclosed on 3 sides and has a cover overhead! The rear side of the hot tub deck faces the mountains and has clear panels at the bottom so you can see the gorgeous view, plus the top 1/2 is screened which lets through the cool evening mountain breeze, as well as the sweet sounds of the mountains! I'm sure I'm not doing the hot tub deck and the mountain view justice, you just have to experience it for yourself! Great location too! In less than 10 minutes we could drive from the cabin to the town below us. We will be back!"
