  • Honeymoon Experience

"We just checked out of a week long stay at Enchanted Evening & we could not have been more pleased! The cabin well exceeded our expectations. It was super clean, very quiet & secluded, romantic, and had a beautiful mountain view! The owners were so nice & made our booking a breeze. We can not wait to return!"

  • Exceptional Value

"The pictures do not do this place justice. I was hoping to check into my cabin a little early and the owners made it happen. Everything about my stay was exceptional. The cabin was much larger than I expected and very cozy. The private hot tub was a treat to come home to after a hike. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool table was in good condition. The satellite tv never wavered, even through one stormy day. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The decor was great: homey but not tacky. The views could not be beat."

  • Family Road Trip

"We stayed at this property for 2 nights. We really loved the authentic feel and all the wood. The porch was perfect to play cards on and hang out at night (loved hearing the river/creek). Parking was a bit nerve-wracking, although we were happy that there was parking. Everything was perfect for me. Only thing to keep in mind - service is VERY limited (I have ATT and I didn't get service inside the home). Also there is no internet - again fine with me but some people couldn't handle it. Last negative is that only 2 burners worked on the stove. Other then that, everything was clean and we had a good time. Thanks again for having us!"

  • USMC Reunion

"We had a wonderful stay at Bears Hearth. We had 12 people on average staying there. There was plenty of room for everyone inside and out. The kitchen was narrow but open on both ends which did help in getting around one another. It was well equipped other than more dishcloths and towels would have been nice. A paper towel holder too as we were always looking for where the roll went. We didn't find a griddle either and with that many people it would have been put to good use. We had plenty of hot water which is always a plus! I didn't use the pool table, which was ripped, or foosball but heard they should be used for firewood. A fire ring or pit would be a nice addition. I enjoyed using the hot tub although I would not call it large. We knew we were going to be in the mountains, but not really expecting the roads to be quite that steep and windy! Make sure your vehicle is in good running condition and has good brakes. It is a quick drive to town but not one you want to make more than necessary. We were not disappointed in bear sightings! We loved seeing them and they didn't seem to mind seeing us and did keep on going. Thank you for giving us a great place to get together for our USMC reunion!"
