  • Outstanding!

"Loved the cabin, this was our first cabin experience and I have no complaints, Donna answered all my questions and was very quick to respond, I don't know if we'll ever want to stay in another hotel again, the cabin was beautiful and loved the location, quiet and relaxing."

  • We loved every moment of our time spent in this charming cabin.

"The word AMAZING adequately describes this cabin with its breathtaking views and countless amenities. We enjoyed our time relaxing on the deck and playing in the game room. Perfect location for both privacy and convenience to downtown Gatlinburg. We hated to leave this little slice of heaven. We will definitely be back!"

  • Excellent Stay at a Superb Property

"My family of 5 (3 girls, ranging from age 5 to age 13) recently completed a Christmas stay at Bear Crossing, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The property is in excellent condition with all amenities in good working order. Further, the appointments in the cabin are good quality (nice dishes, nice glasses, nice appliances, etc.), which is a bit rare in our history with rental properties. Let's start with some confirmations for those considering this property: -- First, communication was top notch and timely every time. -- Arrival was a cinch-- no office to stop into. Drive straight to the cabin with emailed directions/code. -- Everything emailed on time with accuracy. Easy instructions. Cabin is easier to find than directions imply, to be honest. -- We did not have an AWD vehicle and that was no problem, but in snowy conditions, AWD is probably needed. -- There are other cabins around, but the location of this specific cabin is still very secluded. Good privacy on back porch and around the hot tub. -- Cleanliness and functionality was perfect. No issues with any amenity-- all exactly as described. -- Foosball was WAY better than billiards (like all the other cabins have) for our girls-- they loved it. -- There is a PS2 with about 8-9 games. Heads up-- they are all "boy" games like basketball and football and car racing, etc. Our girls still had fun but do make note of that. -- Washer and dryer work well, kitchen is well appointed, excellent toaster and microwave, etc. Even had some nice touches like measuring cups, kitchen scissors, kids bowls, can opener, bottle opener, corkscrew, ample silverware, etc. -- Cabin easily sleeps six, but that configuration only allows "privacy" for two. If you have two couples that would like privacy, definitely don't want to sleep more than 4. Sound carries pretty intensely in an all-wood cabin. -- The location is about 3 miles off the parkway, but the roads are narrow and curvy. Plan for a 10-12 minute drive from the cabin back to the parkway. However, once you are on the parkway, you are minutes from either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. This is our favorite location and is way better than a cursory look at the map might imply. Truthfully, we had a great time. Super experience all the way around. This isn't a huge cabin, but for a couple, a couple with a few kids, or even two couples, Bear Crossing is an excellent choice. We wouldn't hesitate to return."
