  • Wonderful Stay and Wonderful Location

"This property was amazing and a great value. We had two boys who loved the game system, and they loved being able to retreat to the game room to play it. The property offered a great view of the Obergatlinburg Tram as it would travel by. The hot tub was a fantastic amenity after hiking through the mountains. The only downfall I found with this property was on me. I had to learn to use my vehicle in low gear range to navigate my way down the mountain as to not abuse my breaks. Michael and Robin were very accommodating by leaving a journal of events and things to potentially due. They as well left cards that were very handy in offering discounts at local attractions. Blue Bear was a great place to stay and it was hard to leave such a beautiful place. If you want to stay at a place to make some great memories, I recommend this property. Thank you to Michael and Robin for letting us be there guest."

"This was the perfect cabin for our family of 4. It was easy to rent. I definitely recommend Vacation Rentals By Owner!"

  • Amazing Experience!

"Loved our stay at the Mistress! We saw a Mama bear with her three Cubs walk by the house our first day! Once in a life time experience! Very homey and warm cabin, fully equipped for our four night stay. Very pet friendly and so convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! Tucked away on a quiet street, yet so close to area attractions- you truly get the best of both worlds here. Thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful home!"

  • USMC Reunion

"We had a wonderful stay at Bears Hearth. We had 12 people on average staying there. There was plenty of room for everyone inside and out. The kitchen was narrow but open on both ends which did help in getting around one another. It was well equipped other than more dishcloths and towels would have been nice. A paper towel holder too as we were always looking for where the roll went. We didn't find a griddle either and with that many people it would have been put to good use. We had plenty of hot water which is always a plus! I didn't use the pool table, which was ripped, or foosball but heard they should be used for firewood. A fire ring or pit would be a nice addition. I enjoyed using the hot tub although I would not call it large. We knew we were going to be in the mountains, but not really expecting the roads to be quite that steep and windy! Make sure your vehicle is in good running condition and has good brakes. It is a quick drive to town but not one you want to make more than necessary. We were not disappointed in bear sightings! We loved seeing them and they didn't seem to mind seeing us and did keep on going. Thank you for giving us a great place to get together for our USMC reunion!"
