  • Honeymoon Bliss

"Wow! What an incredible cabin to stay in! The property was beautiful, the amenities were just what we needed and more! The view from the decks were just breath taking. What a perfect spot for our honeymoon! We even got to see a bear (farther down the road) on our last night there! My husband wanted nothing more than to see a bear in the mountains! My only concerns about the stay would be the trash bin on the property did not have a lock on it and it didn't look quite so bear proof to us so we ended up keeping what garbage we did have in the closet (two people don't produce that much garbage in a few days) until we left. Also, the porches are not screened in so sitting in the hot tub you fight A LOT of large bugs. I am a Michigan girl where the bugs die in the winter, not get bigger hahaha. Outside of those two very minor details, it was a wonderful place to stay and we cannot wait to bring our family down!"

  • So near, yet so far

"Located within 100 feet of the river, I was captured by the constant babble of the water over the rocks. We tubed through the shallow waters when it wasn't raining. While it was raining, the rainfall on the metal roof of the house substituted well for the relaxing effects of the babbling river. This wonderful place feels more more like a home than so many of the commercial vacation units we've used in the past. While enjoying the natural surroundings here, I almost forgot that we were so close to some popular tourist attractions. Much of my time was spent on the front porch listening to either the rain or the river. Great location at the river near tourist attractions. Friendly and hospitable host. Roomy house with a cook friendly kitchen. I recommend this place to anyone wishing to enjoy the natural beauty that is East Tennessee."
