  • Loved it!

"We had our family of 8, including both of our adult children, their spouses, and two grandchildren (age 8 and 15 months) here and we were very comfortable, with plenty of room in a spacious house that was cozy at the same time. The older grandchild slept in the loft bed and it made it like an adventure within the vacation. Lots of little touches made it special, including such simple things as having laundry detergent provided...things we didn't have to think about packing and lugging along ourselves. Cathy was prompt in responding and pleasant and easy to deal with. We couldn't have picked a much better for a nice family vacation and we'd definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity to vacation again in the area. Close enough to the action of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (about 7 miles/15-20 minutes in good weather), but remote enough to be secluded and private. The restaurants are, of course, a major draw in the area, and we took advantage of them! We shopped (outlets, crafts, antiques), and took the kids to several attractions (really recommend the Alpine Coaster on Wears Valley Road and The Track, just at the end of Wears Valley Road at Light 3). We toured the aquarium (GREAT, but really crowded)...we especially enjoyed The Old Mill, Calhoun's, Bullfish, and Harpoon Harry's. And there's a little place called Pigeon Forge Deli in the back corner of the outlet shops at Light 3 that was incredible...lunched there twice. My husband and son brought their motorcycles on a trailer (which we had to park at the bottom of the hill at the pool; the road up to the house is steep in places) and rode the Tail of the Dragon. Drove part of Foothills Parkway (by car); visited Smoky Mountain Spinnery (WONDERFUL yarn/knitting/spinning store). Had a family old-time photo made at Four Sisters, which they made into one of the highlights of the trip. Hope we get to come back, and hope it's soon!"

  • Loved our stay at the cabin!

"Our family absolutely LOVED our visit and stay at the cabin. It was beautiful and very clean. The location was perfect, only 15 minutes from the Pigeon Forge attractions area. It was so private! You literally have the entire mountain to yourself. The view off the front porch was so beautiful and I could feel the "Amazing Grace How Sweet the View". The hot tub was very clean and it wonderful to sit there to relax and look at the view of the mountains. There was a side extension off the front porch not shown in the pictures that had a picnic table, places to lay out, and you can grill out. There were 3 small steps and 2 on the back to get in and my mom has knee issues but was able to get up just fine. Tge one floor plan made it great for her. The front yard had a low decorative fence separating the woods from the lawn and it was perfect to let our little dog out and not wonder off. The porch had a gate so we could sit out and keep our dog on the porch and deck with us. I felt so safe that the community is gated and no one can get in without a pass. I came with just my son and mother and that made me feel safe. It just felt like home. We could do our wash, cook and grill out with a complete kitchen, was provided movies and books to read, play pool, hot tub, nice community pool with basketball and tennis court, so nicely decorated with outdoors feel and scriptures giving peace, and wonderful customer service. It was not as commercialized and fancy as some of the other cabins we seen and it was simple, accommodating, affordable, and more like a real cabin than many others. The drive and driveway up to it was steep to be expected when you stay up in the mountains. Once at the top to the cabin, it was flat ground with room to do things. We truly felt at home and hated to leave. It holds a special place in our hearts with great memories. Thank for sharing and making our stay very a memorable blessing! Loved it❤️"

  • Hated to leave!

"This is the first time we've ever rented a cabin. But my husband, son and his 7 yr. old son and I loved it. Catch and Release was very secluded, which we loved. There's a cabin up the hill. Sometimes we heard people up there but not often. We couldn't see them and I'm sure they couldn't see us. I loved the landscaping. Very pretty and peaceful. It was so nice sitting on the front porch in the morning watching the wildlife. We never saw a turkey but we did see birds and squirrels. We also saw chipmunks which was a treat for us because we don't have them in south Mississippi. There were no catfish or bream in the pond. My husband tried to catch a goldfish but they refused to get on his hook. The cabin was beautiful but I do have one little suggestion. I would have loved having a shower caddy in the downstairs bathroom. That's where my husband and I stayed and my shampoo and body wash wouldn't stay on the little shelf. It kept falling to the floor but a simple shower caddy would fix that. I tried to leave everything as we found it but after we left I realized I had left a dish cloth and dish towel in the kitchen. Also I forgot to get the men to move the porch furniture back the way it was. We moved it all down to one end so we could sit together. I apologize for that. Thank you so much for being so nice and understanding when I made my boo boo. Again if anyone reading this is looking for a beautiful SECLUDED cabin, this is the one for you."
