  • Lovely cabin with all the comforts of home

"We enjoyed staying in this mountain cabin for a few days while we explored Gatlinburg amd Pigeon Forge. It is located between the two towns which was so convenient. We loved the tvs in the bedrooms and king size beds in both bedrooms, each with their own baths. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • All in all a good experience

"My husband arrived at the cabin to find it clean and ready for guests. An absolutely beautiful view off the lower and upper back decks!!!! Kitchen had sufficient dishes, pots, pans, and baking sheets. Nice touch was the coffee and sugar packets. The disappointment was there were no coffee filters. Not sure why coffee-sugar was offered and no filters. Our bed was comfortable, and both the living room and downstairs bedroom TV's worked perfectly. We spent several nights in the hot tub, and everything was perfect. What a beautiful view from the tub to look up and see the stars. We were excited about the pool table, but disappointed that the table was not level. All the balls ended up on the one side of the table. We discovered the floor sloped, so we had to put a folded over washcloth under two of the legs to level it. It worked pretty good. But there was no pool chalk and the pool bridge was broken and not usable. There was an Air Hockey table that was damaged - one end looked like someone sat on it with the legs buckled under, so we didn't attempt to play it. There was a vintage arcade game machine that was awesome! It had about 10 vintage games on it and it worked perfectly. I will warn people....there is an extremely steep, very tightly wound open staircase going up to the second floor. Very steep, very small - tight turns, and if you have kids this could really be a problem. So would I refer someone to stay there? Yes, but be totally aware of the staircase. And to the owner/property management company - if you are going to offer games for people to enjoy (pool table & air hockey) they need to be playable. Level the table.......fix the air hockey table, and get a new pool bridge and chalk. Thanks!"

  • The cabin on a hill with a beautiful view, close to town but with a real country feel.

"Cabin was wonderful, very clean and stocked with everything needed for an extended stay. Coffee on the porch with a gorgeous view, watching the cows roam the hillside, large TV and double reclining sofa in the living room all made for a relaxing and great vacation. The king bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay at Private Affair on our next visit. Oh, I forgot to mention sitting on the porch watching summer rain, very soothing for our city souls!"

  • Beautiful cabin

"My family enjoyed staying at the Tennessee Rose III. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Smoky Mountains. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. My kids really liked the pool table and theatre system. Kent and Christine made sure we had a good stay!"
