  • Breathtaking Cabin- No Detail Overlooked! Professional, beautiful, all-inclusive!

"We rented Night in the Wild for a Bachelorette weekend getaway for our friend who is getting married next month. We chose this cabin because the pictures were beautiful and it had all of the amenities we were looking for such as a hot tub, an amazing view, extra bedrooms, and a movie theater. When we arrived, the cabin was just as beautiful as in the pictures with no detail overlooked. You really don't need to bring anything with you because the cabin is fully stocked including toilet paper, bar soap, paper towels, coffee filters, extra pillows and blankets, and plenty of towels, and the WiFi was very reliable. We spent a lot of time gathered around the kitchen island and on the deck enjoying the view. Both the living room and the theater room were full of recliners, four in each room, and the cabin was equipped with large screen televisions throughout. The system in the theater room was very easy to use as it was connected through the Blu-ray player at the back of the room. The Blu-ray player was WiFi enabled and showed the option of Netflix, but I couldn't figure out how to connect it to the internet in the settings. There was a fully equipped bedroom and full bathroom on each of the three floors with the king bed on the lowest level, deep jetted tubs in two of the bathrooms, and a large shower in the third bathroom. The roads to the cabin once you left Upper Middle Creek Road were very windy with a few drop-offs but the roads were completely paved with thick curbs on some and after the first trip up the mountain we got used to them. The cabin seems like it is at a pretty high point on the mountain, and the view reflects it. It took us about 15 minutes to get to and from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and we found that most of our travels had us using Teaster Lane instead of the Parkway due to the location. We had a great time hanging out at The Island and visiting Dick's Last Resort, Ole Smoky Moonshine, and even doing the Rocky Top Wine Trail tasting for our free souvenir glass. We really have nothing but positive things to say about the cabin from the comfortable furniture to the professional and modern but rustic decor and the fact that every need is met. We are so grateful to Christy for working with us and letting us have this weekend in her cabin."

  • Another great Yarn Patch retreat!

"This was our second year in this beautiful home - and we were not disappointed. Short of repeating everything we said and did last year, I can only add that this year we also had perfect weather! We were able to make use of the fire pit and enjoyed a beautiful evening outdoors, long walks through the neighborhood, and several mah-jongg marathons on the dock! We're already re-booking for 2017 and can't wait!"

  • Our comfy, cozy, home away from home

"My family and I stayed at the Sugar Bear cabin for a week. The cabin was everything as described. Cozy, warm, and inviting. It had everything you need with a perfect location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. The girls and I really enjoyed the hot tub after our hiking adventures in the evening time. The views on the porch were wonderful, especially in the morning while drinking coffee or in the evening while the sun was setting. We would definitely stay there again if we were to return."

  • Perfect Weekend Getaway

"I rented the cabin for a surprise birthday getaway for my husband and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin was so clean and lovely and had everything we needed/wanted for the weekend. It was so charming and tranquil. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Gatlinburg. Very easy to find as long as you follow owners directions. Very accessible to downtown Gatlinburg (couple minutes drive). It was just perfect. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!"
