"Beautiful cabin with great lake views, clean and we'll equipped. Could not have asked for a better lake access. Very family friendly no matter what the age.3rd trip to the area. Best cabin yet."

  • Fantastic and Relaxing

"This cabin was immaculate and well maintained. The owners were very helpful and responsive. After hiking in the Smoky Mtns, we would come back and relax on the front porch rockers or take a dip in the hot tub. The resort location has a great pool. The cabin looks just like the photos!! I would highly recommend!!"

  • Private, cozy, amazing views!

"Greystone was exactly what we wanted/needed for our recent stay in the Smoky Mts! The cabin is very private with unobstructed views of the mountains, but close enough to all the sights. The cabin is very comfortable, clean and well-stocked with towels, cooking and cleaning supplies - there were even extra shampoos and soaps for us to use. The owners are very responsive and helpful - the driving directions they provided were very helpful and we appreciated their input on sights/dining. Cades Cove was beautiful and we really loved our family-style dinner at the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge. Our daughter enjoyed having her own space in the loft and we even played a few games of air hockey. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of hiking and sight-seeing. The views are even more beautiful than the pictures! Bear tracks on the deck in the morning revealed a late-night visitor our first night! This cabin was perfect for our little family of 3, but it would definitely accommodate more. The price was very reasonable, too! I would definitely recommend this property without hesitation. Thank you sharing your home with us!"

  • Nice place but questionable area

"We arrived to the cabin just as the sun had set. Glad there was a little light left because as they state, this place is pitch black after dark. You will need a flashlight/phone light for sure. Although we followed the printed directions, it was still pretty hard to find and the roads are all very small and mountainous. I would never attempt to get there in the winter because the drop off on the side of the roads are very steep and no guard rails. Once we were in the cabin we were very happy with it. Nice rooms, great beds, TV in every room. Very cozy. My complaints would be the very small showers which you had to duck to get under the shower head and the fact that there is not a porch light left on for you (there is one), even though that is stated in the materials. My main complaint (and it has nothing to do with the cabin) is the area the cabin is in. It reminded me of something out of the movie Deliverance. I was hearing banjos in my head as we were trying to find this place. We passed a cabin that looked like it was falling apart, a couple of very run down trailers and lots of old broken down cars in the area. Not sure if it was the people visiting the area or what, but it seemed very backwoods and unsettling. We go to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area a lot and I have never stayed in an area like this before and while we enjoyed the cabin, I would not stay in this area again."
