  • Perfect! Well needed fun, peace and relaxation!

"The vacation here was perfect! Cabin was the most unique I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. We have always searched for a secluded place but they always have others very close. This one is truly secluded😁Peaceful and relaxing. The lake is close and the view from the point is absolutely beautiful! We can't wait to go back!"

  • A Great Gathering Spot!

"My husband and I rented this spacious home to accommodate a variety of friends from a variety of age groups from various parts of the country arriving and departing at whim. Not one time did we feel there were too many of us to function. There was plenty of room in the loft for three 20 something young men and a couple who brought an inflatable bed while the two master suites downstairs housed those of us over 60 (ouch). Perfectly located from Interstate 40, it was an easy trip for our friends form North Carolina, Ohio and Nashville to join us. All of us either enjoy cooking or eating so the house was always filled with wonderful smells, plenty to eat and lots of laughter. Not one time did we feel like we were on top of one another. The days were spent with each going their way (I often managed quiet time to read). All in all, a great place for many to come together. The cabin is sparsely but nicely furnished and was very clean. Remember that it is a steep stairway to the front door and a few trips up and down with lots of groceries means you need to be in shape or have plenty of young men around to do the hauling :-). The owners of the property were very congenial, accommodating and helpful."

  • Awesome place to chill

"We just spent New Years Eve at the cabin and loved our stay. The layout of the house is great. We had a bunch of kids with us, so the extra living room downstairs was ideal. I loved the two dining tables too, as it really allowed room for everyone. The view is beautiful! It really was lovely. There are two refrigerators too which allowed us to really stock up. Only thing is if you don't like Keurig coffee I would pack your coffee maker. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

  • Old Mill at Dry Creek

"My family visited The Old Mill to celebrate our family Christmas. This was our 4th visit and as always, thoroughly enjoyed our time there. There is plenty of room for 20 of us with suites for families (2) and four other sleeping areas. The kitchen is well appointed and the eating area is large. The children all enjoyed the creek, hiking in the area, feeding the fish and exploring the cave. Cassie Brandon was attentive to our needs and very helpful. We will be back as a family again soon."
