  • Peace and Quite

"Great house for a lake vacation. If you want peace and quite this is the spot. The house was clean and many things were provided for our stay. The covered, screened in, front and back porches make the total living space huge. The only draw back is the wi-fi service is extremely slow. The owner stated that in that area they have the best available."

  • Great fisherman's get away

"Great people, friendly and willing to help us out with anything we needed. Excellent recommendations about attractions and restaurants in the area. Apartment was very clean stocked well. Beautiful view of the bay with early morning sun on the patio. Great for a couple who love to fish!"

  • Clean well equipped with plenty of room

"Went to the lake for a week of fishing and kicking back with my family. The cabin was everything we needed with plenty of room for everyone. Parking for our rigs and electrical outlets for charging our boat batteries. One of the best places we have stayed at in the 20+ years we have been fishing the lake. Looking forward to our next trip and staying at the cabin."

  • Mommy/Puppy Getaway

"Exactly what I was looking for. Peaceful, quiet, safe getaway in reasonable driving distance from all relatives that needed visiting. In the meantime, waking up to beautiful sunrise over the lake, going to bed with beautiful full moon over the lake, morning walks with Natalie (my pup) to the lake, through the woods, and down by the creek - never felt the need to lock anything!!!. The host was very friendly and accommodating, but not intrusive. Kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with whatever you might need. Oh, and if you like wildlife, Natalie and I encountered an armadillo on a morning walk, two bucks, a turkey, a fox, and too many squirrels for her to could catch. Also, there is an enormous nest on the top of the boat dock - can't tell if it is an eagle (juvenile) or an osprey . I tried to get pictures of her entering the nest, but she always heard me coming and would fly up into the tree and watch - like she was saying "nice try sucker." I highly recommend this listing."
