  • Just right! Agent was very responsive to e-mails.

"we were looking for a quiet getaway. this hilltop spot was just right. outstanding view of the lake (though no direct access to the lake -- and we were aware and fine with that). view at back of cabin was of an undeveloped hill with some cleared patches, so was really private -- we thought it was like Walton's Mountain, verdant and peaceful. plenty of space for quiet walks. cabin fairly new, very clean and equipped with cooking utensils needed, washer/dryer and nice leather couches. we'd definitely consider a return trip!"

"My two brothers and I stayed four nights at the Lake Cottage in Oct 2016 and had a great experience. We are all retirement age (but not fully retired yet). They drove from Ohio and I drove from Dallas (half way for each). We arrived on Thursday and left Monday. The Cottage was perfect for us and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was there - we brought just food and cloths. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen well equipped and ready for almost any kind of vacation food prep -- everything was in good condition. Our main activitity was fishing and we fished from the large dock and from the foot powered pontoon boat and the canoe. We caught a variety of fish, topped off by a 3 1/2 pound largemouth bass caught from the dock that we grilled on the nice Weber grill for dinner one night. We enjoyed campfires and conversation every night on the patio and watched the beautiful sun sets. Darryl has great communication and was very responsive to our many questions. His driving directions to the Cottage were excellent but suggest arriving in daylight to make the drive in a bit easier. For supplies and food there is a super Walmart and fishing tackle/bait shop about a 20 minute drive away. We have already started talking about our next get away at the Lake Cottage !!!"

  • AWESOME place to stay if you are coming to Dickson, TN or even Nashville, TN

"Rented all 4 rooms of the Chimney Rock Inn for my family's stay while attending my nephew's wedding in Dickson, TN that was being held at Keller's Corny Country. We were so impressed with the property! Crystal, the owner, was extremely helpful in the process of reserving the place and made herself readily available to answer any questions we had before we even arrived. The Inn was not far from the wedding venue. Each bedroom was clean, spacious and what a treat to have a TV and dorm size refrigerator in each room. LOVED the HUGE dining room where we could all gather for fellowship and to visit. All in all the Inn fit our needs perfectly and we cannot wait to come back next time were are in the area. HIGHLY recommend this!! Thanks, Crystal for all you did to make our stay a MOST ENJOYABLE one!!"

  • Great house and wonderful hosts!

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The Bates' were wonderful hosts. They let us park our boat on their dock and gave us the golf cart to drive back and forth from the cabin. The cabin was well equipped and very comfortable. It was exactly what we were looking for! I hope to be able to come back and stay again soon."
