  • Cozy and Relaxing

"Condo is well furnished and well equipped. Lots of (nice) dishes and cookware were available. Small supply of necessities like toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and dish soap provided. Beds were comfortable. Netflix on the TV was good to have. Supply of board games was used and appreciated. Tons of bath towels. Deck was great to sit out on. Patio couch was very comfortable to read on. Access to clothes dryer was helpful. Bring beach towels. Pool noodles, beach balls and a cooler were provided. Based on the pictures I thought the patio was at the same level as the pool deck. It is about 1/2 a story above the pool deck which gave it more privacy than I was expecting. There are also lots of flowering bushes by the deck that helped with privacy. You could easily see and talk to the people in the pool by standing at the railing - which is one of the reasons I wanted the lower level condo. Access to Walmart, Kroger and another grocery store was easy by car. The Food Mart across the street is just a gas station with very limited food selection. Condo building itself was very impressive and had a ton of amenities but not much staff beyond cleaning and front desk staff. We never saw staff at the pool. Pool is great. Lots of birds by the pool. The kids loved to jump off the waterfall into the lower level pools. The water was only slightly cool for late March. Lazy river was good - tubes were a bit tall to ride on, suggest you bring your own floaty. Slide was closed. Hot tub was comfortable - not overly hot. Not many umbrellas by the pool. We saw why when one umbrella was left open overnight and the wind destroyed it. Indoor pool was great, and a bit warmer. Game room was fun. Beach was easily accessible but you would need to bring chairs to sit down there - lots of shells on the sand. Galveston was fun. We had dinner at Little Daddy's Gumbo Bar (just fair, but I'm not a huge Gumbo fan, atmosphere was good, outdoor dining on the sidewalk). Lunch at The Spot was great - by the water, casual food, outdoor dining on the deck. Moody Mansion was good but not overly impressive. Children's Museum was best for very small children. Johnson Space Center was amazing."

  • Very nice resort and unit. Not the place to stay if you want to go to the beach.

"The pools and pool area are excellent. The resort is well maintained. The unit is very nice but does not have an inside dining table. Had one on the patio but it is 90 degrees plus out there. Minimal towels provided in the room. Beach access is limited and minimal beach area once you get there. Cannot see the beach from this unit."

  • Awesome Property!

"Great Condo! VERY well kept!! Will definitely book again! Only complaint was that the condo bar & pool bar weren't open and it was spring break! Wish they had been. But the indoor pool was amazing & the kids loved the game room."
