  • Pleasant and roomy!

"My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Serendipity this past weekend. We had 6 people fly in from all over the country and stay a full weekend. Plenty of room and space to draft our fantasy baseball teams and with the patio out back, we were able to spread out and really enjoy each others company. The convenience of nearby restaurants and bars was great as well so we didn't need to drive all weekend. Will definitely come back for our next visit."

  • Great little place!!!!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage on 14th Street. It is in a great location and the owners have thought of everything that you would need for a stay. We would definitely stay there again as it is a beautiful little cottage. We had four adults, a teenager, and a little one and felt comfortable with plenty of room to sleep and relax after a long day in the sun. Having a grill was great as well as a washer and dryer. Thanks for sharing your house with us!!!"

  • Amazing Find

"There are not enough words to describe how absolutely perfect this property is! We were two families with a total of 9 people and everyone had a bed, the teenagers had their own loft, the grandma had a room on the main level without having to use the stairs, and the master suite was great for my husband and I. We hosted two graduation dinners at the house for a total of 15 people and there was plenty of room to sit and socialize. The kitchen is fully loaded (coffee even) and the harvest table in the dining room was the center of our social time together. Easy very short walk to the BEST breakfast on the island, Sunflower Cafe or Mesquito Cafe for lunch and dinner. Amazing desserts at Sunflower and Mesquito Cafe. We bought full cakes and pies from Sunflower for our dinners and they were delicious. 7 block walk to Postoffice Street shopping and about 9 to the Strand. (We highly rate Postoffice shopping over The Strand which is extremely touristy). The Captains Cottage is simply the best place we've ever rented. We spent 4 years coming back and forth to Galveston. Wish we had discovered Captain's Cottage 4 years ago!!"

  • It was a very beautiful home! Everything was included! Wonderful Stay!

"We stayed for one week. The bedrooms were a good size, and the living room was very tight, but we fit just fine. This was one of the best vacation rentals, we have ever stayed in."
