  • Beautiful Cottage

"Ron met us at the cottage and gave us a personal walk through. The cottage is an 1875 cottage with just the right mix of period charm and modern conveniences. We absolutely loved our stay. We had everything we needed ... and then some. Our two Shih Tzus loved the back deck and yard, and it was very secure for them. The kitchen was phenomenal. We cooked breakfast and dinner both days and had everything we could possibly ask for as far a dishes, pots and pans, glassware....it was stocked like my own kitchen at home...a full shelf of spices included! The cottage is about 5 blocks from the Seawall ---a perfect walk distance for our dogs, and about a block and a half from Broadway - the main street running through town. We will definitely be back next time we are in Galveston!"

  • Can't beat this vacation cottage experience!

"Tony and Ron provided everything we could want or need. We really appreciate their hospitality. We lived in Houston for 25 years and traveled to Galveston for a vacation every year. We always stayed in a house on the beach. This is the first time we stayed in town near the beach. This cottage provided the best of both. We were close enough to the beach to see the ocean and feel the breezes. Afternoons on the deck were wonderful. The close proximity to town afforded us the opportunity to frequent all our favorite restaurants and haunts. We highly recommend this seawall cottage. Bill and Sharan McBride"

  • Wonderful Home and Perfect Location!

"Our group was rather small - myself, my sister, my son and his two children. There was more than enough room for the five of us, but this home could very easily accommodate a much larger group. The Captain's Cottage far exceeded my expectations. Not only was it roomy and comfortable, but absolutely gorgeous, and the location is close to all the attractions and restaurants. Everything we needed was provided, all we had to bring is our food. I would definitely recommend the Captain's Cottage to anyone travelling to Galveston. I will not hesitate to book this amazing place again."
