  • Great codon with nice view

"We stayed at the condo during the Labor Day weekend. The condo is very clean and only a short drive away to the Pointe West beach club. The beach here is much better than those in the downtown area. The sand is whiter/cleaner and it's much less crowded. On a clear day the view of sunset from the balcony facing the bay is stunning. The owner Rasmia is very nice and tried her best to make our stay enjoyable. We will stay here again the next time we visit Galveston."

  • Would stay again

"We were in Galveston with another family to attend the Sea Camp at A & M Galveston. This house fit all of our needs perfectly, 4 adults/4 kids. Spacious, great kitchen for two mom's to maneuver in while cooking, huge deck, large master and the two other rooms were good sizes. Comfortable living area and plenty of space to sit and eat. Plus other amenities, washer/dryer/cable/beach toys, etc. The kids could ride their bikes to the beach, only a couple of minutes. Quiet subdivision, at least while we were there. Clean beaches. We would definitely stay again! Thanks!"

  • Clean, cute and close to the beach!

"Jana was great!! Incredibly easy to deal with and very helpful. The condo is just as described, not too big, but has everything you need, and a short walk across the parking lot and you're at the sea wall. Thank you Jana for a lovely get away!"

  • Cozy comfort

"When I started looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights I found out the hotels were outrageous. The Hemisphere Dreamer came up on VRBO and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. This upstairs apartment is more than adequate for one or two people. The place is spacious and very clean. There is one other apartment upstairs and two located in the basement level. A secluded patio is located down the back stairs where I found a large gas grill and a table with chairs. The kitchen was stocked with a few pots and pans but there are plenty of cups, glasses. A coffee maker is available but be warned, the counter top slopes quite a bit and the coffee runs off of the lid while brewing and it makes a mess. The queen size mattress is very comfortable with crisp clean sheets and the bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels. A laundry room is in the basement with a washer and drier and you'll find an assortment of clean beach towels in there. The street parking is reserved for residents with permits and the owners left me a parking permit in the kitchen. So, the Pleasure Pier traffic was not a bother at all. Every time I pulled up to the house I had a place to park. The Pleasure Pier is right across the parking lot and Seawall Blvd. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance from the house and the beach right there, too. Rosenberg (25th St) is at the end of the block it's a direct route to the Strand, Harborside and the Historic District. I highly recommend the Hemisphere Dreamer and I'll certainly look for availability the next time I need to stay in Galveston."
