  • A nice place to stay

"The condo was clean, and the decor is appealing--especially the panelled wall and the teal and coral colors. Everyone in our family of six slept comfortably. The king size bed was extremely cozy. I think the bunk beds are a little bit smaller/shorter than average, but my 12-year old son and teenage daughter fit satisfactorily. We do all our own cooking since we don't like to go out to eat. The kitchen was not as well equipped as I would have liked, so if you plan to cook for your family, you may want to bring some of your own dishes particularly a large pot, skillet, and salad bowl. We were there for a half marathon trail race, so we didn't really get to use the pools or other amenities. My sons did go to the hot tub after the race. We enjoyed watching the rabbits out in the courtyard at night."

  • Best little place in Galveston

"We truly enjoyed our time in Galveston. The condo is very well decorated and welcomes you in as soon as you open the door. There is everything you need to have a relaxing time while you are there. They have a full size washer and dryer, dishwasher, matching dishes, everything you need! Having morning coffee and night caps on the balcony was one of the best parts about staying there. Watching the pelicans in the leaked next door was comical, we truly enjoyed Healthcliff and Gertrude. We will miss them! Next time we come to Galveston we will come back to this condo!"

  • Good place to sleep for a weekend on the island

"I would say everything about the condo interior is about average. It is a suitable place to stay for a weekend, especially when you spend most of your time out of the condo. The balcony was nice and the unit is located off the main strip, but close enough for easy access. I would definitely recommend happy hour at Nick's or Jimmy's on the Pier (which is walking distance from the condo). If you plan on doing any cooking in the condo, plan on bringing your own cookware. All cookware provided is thin and is not ideal for use on the electric stove top. The grounds of the condo complex are very well kept and the pools seemed nice (although we didn't use them). I would stay here again to spend downtime on the island."
