  • Enjoyed spring on the beach. Don't let 74 degree days fool you. It was comfortable and wonderful.

"You can see the sun rise over the Gulf from the upper deck!!! This house has everything you need for a great time at the beach, including a heated outdoor shower and toys to build a sand castle. The quiet neighborhood is a few miles away from the busy seawall beachfront activities which is a plus. This house is spacious, and is well suited for grandparents and their grandchildren, a family with children, a girlfriend retreat to the beach, or a couple families vacationing together. There are nice kitchen utensils and cookware if you choose to cook, and washer and dryer to keep your beach towel fresh. There is a grill and a fire-pit which was amazing for enjoying each other in the evenings. Beach house is close enough to drive to Pleasure Pier, bicycle rentals, beachfront dining, old Galveston downtown, or the busier East Beach and Stewart Beach. There are trash receptacles on the beach for any picnic trash, and trash service at the house. The neighborhood feels safe for going for a walk and the beach feels safe to go for a morning walk by yourself. There is internet with good signal which is perfect for doing work or uploading photos. There are two TVs so that you can watch different shows (or March Madness games like we did). Parking is ample and off the street. Can't think of anything we needed and didn't have. There are fulltime neighbors nearby, so not great if you plan to play music and stay outside late, but local ordinance allows beach access till midnight and the beach is so close. We were in the water every day and the water temp was comfortable. Lots of shells washed up on the beach. Saw a sea turtle and lots of jellyfish on the shore. Didn't notice the jellyfish when swimming."

  • Beautiful! Sea Isle beach home

"The pictures of this lovely home are very accurate! This house is beautifully decorated with a coastal theme and is very clean. Newer appliances are clean and in good working order. Carey came by the day after we arrived to welcome us and see if we needed anything. She and Denis are friendly, helpful, and truly wanted us to be comfortable and enjoy our stay! With a beach access across San Louis Pass road from Sea Isle and a variety of restaurants both casual and more upscale nearby, this a perfect location! This area is quiet and private and just right for lounging on the deck overlooking a canal. Perfect place to relax and visit with friends and guests! Even in the winter off-season, there are plenty of activities to enjoy! This house is exactly as described, and very comfortable, even for a large group! We appreciated the opportunity to enjoy this great home! Do not hesitate on this rental home!!"

  • Lovely house

"House was great, loved the huge deck! Kitchen had everything u could possibly need and the owner was easy to work, throughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would change is maybe put some stepping stones or pathway to the walkway over the dunes because of how bad the grass burs were. But overall loved this house and would definitely stay again."
