  • Family of Six Getaway in Port A

"We really enjoyed our stay in Surf Shack. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us (4 kids under 10), and we were all quite comfortable when we were there. We chose to drive to the beach (rookie mistake since we drove a sandbox home), but it is certainly close enough to walk. While we were there we are at Port A Pizza and Irie's both were really good. The pizza buffet was a great value a specially with the younger kids, and Irie's was a nice change up to accomodate the kids & the foodie side of our family (my wife and I)."

  • Family Vacation

"This place was fabulous!! It looks exactly like the pictures, the view was beautiful. The condo was clean, the building was well maintained, the staff were extremely courteous & helpful. There was canopy/chair setup every day, on a first come first serve basis but we were able to get one every day of our stay. There were boogie boards & sand toys in the closet which was a nice surprise! Fresh towel exchange every day, decent coffee in the lobby every morning & they have a little Kids Club that does activities during the summer months. We will definitely be coming back next year😊"

  • Fabulous family vacation spot

"Ten family members gathered for the 4th of July. We had plenty of room to enjoy each other's company and to have alone time. Grandparents stayed in the downstairs suite. One couple stayed in the upstairs master and another in the main floor bedroom with adjoining bath. Children stayed in another bedroom and on the pull down bed in the living area which has a half-bath. Everyone was very pleased. Decks abound for time to soak up the coastal air, read a book, or have an intimate conversation. Children enjoyed the widow's walk at the top of the house where they watched fireworks in the distance. The kitchen was large and well equipped and there was a grill in the back with a picnic table where fajitas, hamburgers, etc. were cooked in the shade while the guys visited. The beach is a walk away with a boardwalk, and there is a community pool which is small but functional. I highly recommend this lovely property."
