  • Great family friendly condo in Port A

"Condo was very spacious, clean and perfect for large family. The kitchen had everything needed for food prep (even casseroles and cake pans) and the dining table can accommodate 10 easily. Loved that it is close to town, but just far enough down the beach to get out of the big crowd. We had a great stay!"

  • Perfect for Sand Castle Days!

"Very nice, clean condo. The beds were really comfortable! Our unit overlooked the pool. We could hear the ocean from the deck, but really couldn't see the ocean. The palm trees are bigger and there are multiple condos that have been built between this building and the beach. The walk takes maybe 5 min and it's paved then you have the boardwalk over the sand dunes. Very easy walk. The view from the walkway is beautiful! This condo is not right on the beach. But this was ok with us as we spent our time at the Sand Castle Days. FYI- you can drive your car down on the beach w all your beach necessities IT'S FREE ! And then enjoy the ocean all day too. If you need to go back to the condo it's only a 5 min walk! If you park near your walkway, that's what we did! We didn't use the pull out, but did see it's the standard thin doubt it's very comfortable. We used the pool and it was clean and enjoyable as well. We grilled steaks on the gas grill provided-and enjoyed eating on the picnic tables that are also there for your enjoyment."

  • February 2016

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay at Mary's condo. It was clean and comfortable and the ground floor patio and access to the delightful pool area was very convenient. The cleaning staff were particularly attentive to our needs and the front desk responded to our various requests. The condo was well located, the beach was at our doorstep across the dunes where we enjoyed many morning walks. Port Aransas, a delightful small town with many restaurants and leisure activities, is only 5 or so minutes by car. We also enjoyed many afternoons at Bob Hall pier and beach which was a 10minute car ride to Padre Island. I would recommend Mary's condo to anyone seeking clean and comfortable accommodation with a great pool area, quick and easy access to the beach and a convenient short drive to town. Finally, while I have never met Mary and Alex, I can tell they are they are honest, attentive and considerate people. Thanks for a great time."

  • Perfect little getaway - will stay again!

"My husband, daughter, daughter's friend and myself went to 130 Seamist this past week for a Spring Break getaway. It was better than what I expected. The pictures do not do it service. The condo has been newly remodeled and we had pretty much everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The condo was clean and organized. There were a couple of little quirks. The drain in the shower drains very slowly. The lights in the master bedroom stay on when the fan is on. So, if you want to have the fan on while you are sleeping, you will need to loosen the light bulbs in the fixture. The TV in the living room needs to manually be turned on/off - the remote needs to be reprogrammed. None of these things affected our stay or made it any less than. It was just little things I noticed. One of the major perks is it had a washer and dryer that worked very well. This made our stay very comfortable. The condo is within walking distance of the beach (you can sit on the porch and hear the waves, but another house is blocking the view, but is very pretty to look at). You are a stone's throw away from anything you need on the island, to include a grocery store. The pool area is phenomenal and it seems like a little private island. You can look at it from the balcony. At night it is very pretty when all lit up. Bring bug spray though! The first night we had a crawfish boil outside in the yard by the pool and we were all eaten up by mosquitoes. Never in my life have I been bitten that bad. This property is very quiet, which we loved. It was very calm and serene, even though we were there during Spring Break. The bedroom was great for my husband and I, and the girls slept on the futon. There was extra bedding for the futon provided, to include 2 pillows. Overall, it is a great place to stay and definitely worth the price!"
