  • Wonderful House for my Family

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was an excellent rental for our family. Clean, new and modern, and very close to town and the beach. My only main complaint was the middle bunk room. This room was unbearable. There was absolutely no air circulation in this room and the kids were miserable. The room was hot and stagnant the entire time we were there. There is no ceiling fan, which is odd, because every other room in the house had one. There are no blinds on the window to block out the sun, just gauzy curtains, so there was no relief. The first thing I did was buy a fan, but it barely made a dent. The kids that had to sleep in this room were hot and uncomfortable every night. Other than that, the rest of the rooms were very cool and comfortable. Soft comfortable beds and large bathrooms and closets."

  • Great family friendly condo in Port A

"Condo was very spacious, clean and perfect for large family. The kitchen had everything needed for food prep (even casseroles and cake pans) and the dining table can accommodate 10 easily. Loved that it is close to town, but just far enough down the beach to get out of the big crowd. We had a great stay!"

  • A great retreat for the non busy season.

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was very nice. We enjoyed it. the front door handle on the second floor was wobbly. We were scared to pull the door closed because we didn't want to break it. The toilet paper holder on the second floor back bedroom was not attached to the wall and would fall off. My husband tried to attach it better. Under the rug in the living room, there was a lot of sand. (We rolled up the rug because we had young children and they kept stumbling over the rug.) We vacuumed and all was well. The property management people were very nice. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Washer and dryer was very much a plus. Thank you very much for our retreat. Eating area a little small."

  • Perfect little getaway - will stay again!

"My husband, daughter, daughter's friend and myself went to 130 Seamist this past week for a Spring Break getaway. It was better than what I expected. The pictures do not do it service. The condo has been newly remodeled and we had pretty much everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The condo was clean and organized. There were a couple of little quirks. The drain in the shower drains very slowly. The lights in the master bedroom stay on when the fan is on. So, if you want to have the fan on while you are sleeping, you will need to loosen the light bulbs in the fixture. The TV in the living room needs to manually be turned on/off - the remote needs to be reprogrammed. None of these things affected our stay or made it any less than. It was just little things I noticed. One of the major perks is it had a washer and dryer that worked very well. This made our stay very comfortable. The condo is within walking distance of the beach (you can sit on the porch and hear the waves, but another house is blocking the view, but is very pretty to look at). You are a stone's throw away from anything you need on the island, to include a grocery store. The pool area is phenomenal and it seems like a little private island. You can look at it from the balcony. At night it is very pretty when all lit up. Bring bug spray though! The first night we had a crawfish boil outside in the yard by the pool and we were all eaten up by mosquitoes. Never in my life have I been bitten that bad. This property is very quiet, which we loved. It was very calm and serene, even though we were there during Spring Break. The bedroom was great for my husband and I, and the girls slept on the futon. There was extra bedding for the futon provided, to include 2 pillows. Overall, it is a great place to stay and definitely worth the price!"
