  • A Wonderful Place!

"The Guest house is just percious.Very clean, comfortable and peaceful! Jerry made us feel very welcome and at home. We had a great a time. We were able to dock our boat next to Jerry's sail boat which was very nice! We'll definitely go back."

  • Magnificent!

"I have stayed at many vacation home rentals and have never received the kind of personalized service as I had from Shari and her assistant Shane. I received a text before we arrived with tips on fishing and fun for the family. You don't have to worry about bringing toys for your kids or any condiments or seasoning. They have the placed stocked! The place is clean, stylishly decorated with quality beds and bedding. I stayed at one B&B in Portland, the mattress was so hard that the floor was more comfortable. You can really tell they love their second home and I appreciate that they share it with others. This is a very family friendly home! My boys loved the bunk beds and having their own TV for evening quiet time. We hope to go back again soon!"

  • Lots of Space to Spread Out

"We really enjoyed our recent weekend at this property. We had two families -- 4 adults and 5 kids ages 4-17. The master bedroom is on the main floor, but all other bedrooms are on the bottom floor, so those of us with younger kids ended up sleeping on the bottom floor to avoid kids needing to climb the dark stairs in the middle of the night. There were plenty of beds to go around, with different amounts of privacy as desired. The younger kids are highly distractible but between the excitement of the trip, the outside play, and the great sound proofing of the house, they were not kept up while older kids were still awake despite being in the one room without a solid door. We took advantage of most every amenity this house had. Great fishing two mornings in a row, a grille to make hamburgers, an outside picnic table and inside dining table, a foosball table in the game room, two bathrooms (though we did miss there was no way to plug the drain and take a bath in the tub upstairs), a wide range of TV channels, and free wifi to play Quiplash together on our devices. Lest you think we snuggled up together in the house, we also went swimming at nearby beaches twice and drove the hour away to Corpus Christi to catch some waves, try catching sharks, and shop. My only recommendation is to bring a bag of ice in with you as you come. There's plenty of place to store it in the freezer."

  • Fantastic Reunion Location

"My cousins and I spent five wonderful reunion days at this beautiful home on the bay. Because of the size there was no doubling up in bedrooms. Best of all, the fully equipped kitchens. We are a family who likes to cook, and for once we were not buying the equipment to do so. There is lots to keep you busy - kayaking, boating, fishing from dock, jacuzzi and community pool. The owners provided me with lots of info ahead of time, including places to go in the area which was very helpful. Best of all relaxing on the balcony watching the world drift by! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us."
