  • Loved the House

"The one issue we found when we got there was that the trash had not been taken to the curb and something had knocked the can over and went through the trash leaving it spread out under the house. Everything was taken care of that day."

  • Ideal Getaway

"My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was the perfect size (the pictures don't do it justice). We were able to comfortably fit our family of 5 plus 2 friends and everyone had enough room. The back porch is the best location to drink coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the quietness and scenery, especially when the porpoises come out to play early in the mornings or later in the evenings. Just a few steps down from the porch were the boat dock and pier where we able to fish and set a trap for crabs. The home had everything we needed for our weekend so the only thing we had to buy were groceries for meals; we didn't even have to bring towels. The pool was great because it was next to the bay. The kids were able to jump from the pool to swimming in the bay to the pier on the opposite side . The condo was only a 5-10 minute drive into the main part of Rockport for shopping or restaurants and also a short drive to the main beach for swimming in the ocean. Overall, if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in Rockport, this is it. My family plans on making this a regular trip from now on and we won't stay anywhere else."

  • Lots of Space to Spread Out

"We really enjoyed our recent weekend at this property. We had two families -- 4 adults and 5 kids ages 4-17. The master bedroom is on the main floor, but all other bedrooms are on the bottom floor, so those of us with younger kids ended up sleeping on the bottom floor to avoid kids needing to climb the dark stairs in the middle of the night. There were plenty of beds to go around, with different amounts of privacy as desired. The younger kids are highly distractible but between the excitement of the trip, the outside play, and the great sound proofing of the house, they were not kept up while older kids were still awake despite being in the one room without a solid door. We took advantage of most every amenity this house had. Great fishing two mornings in a row, a grille to make hamburgers, an outside picnic table and inside dining table, a foosball table in the game room, two bathrooms (though we did miss there was no way to plug the drain and take a bath in the tub upstairs), a wide range of TV channels, and free wifi to play Quiplash together on our devices. Lest you think we snuggled up together in the house, we also went swimming at nearby beaches twice and drove the hour away to Corpus Christi to catch some waves, try catching sharks, and shop. My only recommendation is to bring a bag of ice in with you as you come. There's plenty of place to store it in the freezer."
