  • Awesome location! Great Experience.

"My extended family of 12, including 4 teenagers, and 2 pre-teens, stayed here for a week over Christmas break. We were able to get into the house immediately upon arrival, the manager met us there and explained everything. Pictures are very precise of what you will find. I was a bit concerned because there were not photos of the bathrooms, but the master bathroom is very nice with a double sink and huge vanity, and the other two bathrooms were small, but clean and adequate. All bedrooms had huge closets to store all luggage and clothing, kitchen had brand new cooking and baking pans, and more everything than we would ever need. The living/dining/kitchen area was huge and open so awesome to all be together and not be crowded! The living area is upstairs from the main door, and there are 20 steps to climb, so take caution if you are coming with someone who might struggle with steps. We did have a small issue with the bunk beds in the kids room, but the owners addressed it very promptly, so hopefully that is resolved by now. The pool and hot tub were a hit with all of us! The hot tub comfortably seated 6 adults at one time, and the pool was great. There were all kinds of pool toys and other items in the garage to use in the pool and at the beach. The view of the gulf from the upper back deck was great! As far as getting groceries, I would recommend to cross the bridge and go to HEB (1st choice), or Walmart - don't waist your time going to IGA down the road. Their frozen items were all freezer burnt and full of ice! The house was very spacious, clean, and met our needs. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Wonderful place!

"Thank you so much Laura for accepting our stay. The condo was wonderful, everything we hoped for and more! Bed linens and towels were amazing and the stocked kitchen was fantastic although I only cooked one big meal, everything we needed was there. Loved the layout and it was perfect for our family of five as plenty of room to spend time together and to get away from each other when needed too (kids 14, 19 and 25)! Laura was great at responding to my questions both before and after I made the reservation. The whole property was very clean and well kept and the gate men were helpful as well. We'd recommend Louie's and Parrot Eyes for restaurants, we actually did the buffet at Louie's 2 nights during our stay! Loved the Sea Turtle Rescue (went there twice too!). The Bird Sanctuary boardwalk tour was good too, but helpful hint - if someone in your party is a bird lover already you could take the twin matching boardwalk from the convention center and save some cash. Hope we get to come back again and would definitely book this condo again! Thanks again for everything Laura!"

"We have stayed at Family Tides many times. Each time it has been great. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we need to cook good meals. There are always plenty of towels and washcloths. The house is always clean. Kay is fantastic to work with. We will definitely be coming back."

  • Perfect for our family!

"We just returned from our SPI vacation. This condo was perfect for our family of 3 and so clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. We watched the most amazing sunrises. On Thursday and Friday nights you could see the Fireworks from the front of the condo. It is ideally located in the middle of town. Close enough to everything but far enough from the crowds. The kitchen was well equipped. The only negative is the fold out sofa was very uncomfortable but a quick trip to town for a blow up mattress fixed that. We would most definitely recommend and return to this unit. Can't say enough great things about it! Thank you for a wonderful vacation."
