  • Clean, safe and very welcoming!

"Dan was amazing! We booked our trip less than 24 hours and he confirmed and sent us directions within 12 hours. Our 8 year old loved the ocean so much that on our last evening we decided to stay one extra night. Again Dan was very helpful and made this happen for us. The condo was clean and cozy. And the beach was a quick walk away. We had a great time and Dan made our trip that much more special! We will definitely return!"

  • Excellent Place to Stay

"The Sapphire is a great vacation resort and Unit 802 is perfect for a smaller family. Our gang of 4 stayed there and we had plenty of room to stretch out. The unit had everything we needed. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The master bath suite is huge with plenty of closet space to store everything you bring. The furniture is all high-quality and comfortable for lounging when you need to recover from the heat and sun. They even have a collection of beach toys and chairs for use. We cooked almost all of our meals which helped save money and hassle. The patio has a great view of the pool and gulf; it is in the shade from noon on and we spent a lot of time out there. The amenities at the Sapphire are top-notch. The pool is so big that we never felt crowded and there is plenty of furniture for lounging. They have private access to the beach with a hose and a shower for rinsing off when you come back. The exercise room is large and well-equipped with machine weights, free weights, and cardio machines. We didn't use the teen room or theater but they looked fun. The property has a 3 story parking garage which is nice to keep your car out of the heat. The location is perfect; it is easy to get on and off the island from there. You are one block from Schlitterbahn and easy access to the best restaurants and fun on SPI. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the leasing agent, Coastal Lifestyles, was great to work with. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We highly recommend this rental!"

  • Wonderful Thanksgiving week with our little family.

"My husband, almost 2 year old and I stayed the week of Thanksgiving and had an amazing stay. This condo unit is absolutely perfect and far exceeded our expectations. The photos are great but it truly is even better in person. It is SUPER clean, I have never felt that good about the cleanliness of a rental. The kitchen and bathrooms were in great condition. The view is perfect. It is set back just a little and on the private side of the building. The one flight of stairs up to the unit is not steep at all and super convenient, much easier than dealing with an elevator. It was right next to the pool that is not heated which was great because it was nice and quiet and we were able to use the jacuzzi at night because our baby monitor reached! We did use the heated pool near the other building which was a short walk.We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen they have everything and more than you need. The washer and dryer were super convenient to have. They provided nice plush beach towels, chairs and beach toys! The beds were great and all the linens were nice and plenty of towels for the week. The unit is very spacious. The second bathroom is set away from the bedrooms so if sharing with another couple it might be an awkward layout. The bathroom with the tub has a glass sliding door so giving our kid a bath was a little challenging but manageable. The weather was great except for the mosquitoes! Thankfully we brought plenty of bug spray. The end of the beach this building is on is nice and quiet it is the furthest south and sits next to sand dunes. We loved going for a run on the beach with our jogging stroller in the morning, the walk to the beach is really short and convenient. We took the short drive to HEB the first day and hit up the IGA for a few items. We had one of the best Mexican meals and margaritas ever at Senor Donkey and had an okay meal (overpriced/slow service/horrible margarita) with a fabulous sunset view at the Painted Marlin. We also took our son to the turtle rescue which was cute. We definitely plan to go back and stay in this unit or another one the Strub couple manages because they do an excellent job - this unit has everything you need and more."
