  • Perfect for 4 couples plus apartment!

"This house was so clean and directly across from the pool which my kids loved. The boardwalk to the beach was within walking distance another plus for my small kids. The house was very clean, had plenty of towels and I definitely recommend this beach house! It worked well for us with 4 families and it even has a really nice apartment down stairs with a fooze ball table. The back porch is very nice to sit and fish or look at the lagoon. The lady Kendall was very attentive and easy to work with, we even got an early check in and late check out. Oh and the fishing guide service they offer is AMAZING!! The kids and my husband had a blast. Captain Braeden will show you a good time and send you home with fish. We will be back next year!"

  • Everything one would need!

"We have rented vacation homes in the past and this unit ranks near the top. The unit is spacious and well equipped. The furnishing are excellent and the master bed was very comfortable. The wifi service was top notch. All the little extras such as soap, shampoo, paper towels where appreciated. The owners where very helpful and responded quickly to any of our questions. We enjoyed the views from the deck and our daily walks on the beach. If you are looking for a restful, no problem vacation rental than this is the spot."

  • Perfect Introduction to the West

"Marfa Loft was exactly as pictured...and somehow still even better in person. The location has got to be the best spot in town being right in the middle of everything, yet somehow still secluded by nature with our very own private oasis feel. David was the perfect host. He introduced himself upon our arrival and gave us great advice on what to do and where to go, especially when it came to the food portion of Marfa. The property was clean and very well maintained. The Loft itself we could have stayed in all day! Very spacious...especially that amazing shower. We also really enjoyed having our own private balcony surrounded by nature-coffee outside in the morning and a nightcap in the evening! We walked nearly everywhere a few times a day and saw the entire town. The views from the clerestory windows were also unexpected...loved viewing the silent industrialness of the older buildings on one side and tree covered windows on all of the others. Visually relaxing yet mindfully stimulating! We are now spoiled by David's Loft - can't imagine coming to a place like Marfa and staying in a hotel with other people around you. This trip and loft was exactly what we were looking for...privacy and relaxation, yet steps to everything else when we wanted it. We will definitely be back and we will most definitely stay at Marfa Loft! Thanks for introducing me to the West proper!! -Karen R."

  • Fantastic Family Get-Away

"This condo worked out great for our family beach trip. The living area is spacious, with plenty of room in the TV area and dining area for 8 people. it would work well for different types of groups - a large family, 2 small families, a group of adults. The bedrooms were great and the master bath was a real luxury, with jet tub and incredible walk-in shower. It is essentially on the beach, although you walk through the rest of the complex to get to the beach. The complex has 2 pool areas, both of which we enjoyed, especially on the way back from the beach. Shade was available at both of them. The complex is nicely landscaped and maintained - very impressive. The ping-pong tables, racquetball courts and library were nice extra perks. The beach was less crowded in front of the Sunchase compared to further up the beach, which I assume was near a public access. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of table settings, pots, pans, coffee maker, small Keurig type coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookie sheets and a few spices. We also had plenty of ice for filling water bottles. The one small issue that came up was quickly resolved. We would definitely return."
