  • Great Family Vacation Spot

"My extended family stayed in this property for two nights, and we had a great time. Being together as a family was much easier in a house than it would have been in two or three hotel rooms. We found the property as described, and very clean with no maintenance issues. I had a little bit of a problem getting into the house due to a new door lock, but a quick phone call resolved the issue. I also noticed they updated the check-in instructions that same day based on my experiences. THANK YOU for the recliner, it made my elderly father's trip more comfortable. Everything we needed was on hand and easy to find. The kitchen had all the basics, and a lovely sink - I'm jealous! The bedrooms were all comfortable, no one in the family reported trouble sleeping. The location is awesome. Eastside is a great, funky community. We loved driving around the neighborhood, and eating the awesome chicken/green mole/peach pizza at East Side Pies. As promised, downtown Austin was just a short car ride away. The house served as a great launchpad for our Austin adventures, and we couldn't be happier."

  • Great location for access to University and Downtown

"This apartment was a nice, quiet place to stay in Austin. It had everything that we needed: a fully-equipped kitchen (including grill), nice patio, plenty of seating and comfortable places to sleep. We are walkers, when it comes to travel, so being within 1.5 miles of both downtown and the University was no big deal (I think there was one day where we walked about 6 miles). Scott was also a very gracious host. There was some very bad weather which caused a problem at the apartment, but Scott took care of it calmly and it didn't cause us any issues for the remainder of our stay."

  • Excellent Location!

"My family and I went to a wedding in Austin & the bride told us to search in VRBO because it would be more affordable & more comfortable place as opposed to a hotel. I'm glad I did. I had never heard of VRBO. This was a cute condo, very clean & spacious. Love that I was able to bring my furbaby Toby. He loved the little backyard & he enjoyed all the squirrels that would be scurrying around there. . This is a great location. There are some restaurants & food trucks within walking distance. Congress street is close by & my puppy & i went to a nearby small trail & the following day we went to the trail under the Bat Bridge which was only 5 min walking distance. The only thing was kind of scary was the entrance to the parking lot because it was sort of steep & you could see where a few cars had hit the bottom of their cars. Anyway, we were careful driving in & out, though. It also had a dvr to play movies, & there were books & game boards to play but we were busy with wedding stuff & sightseeing, we didn't have time to use them but it's a great touch. Also there is coffee available for you to make. All in all, it's a great cozy place. I have already recommended this site to a few people. We enjoyed our stay at this property. Thanks Dominique. :)"
